Hi Jane! 😊 The Boxabl Casita is about 375 square feet when fully unfolded. Here’s a quick overview:
• Dimensions: roughly 20 ft x 19.5 ft
• Ceiling height: about 9.5 ft
• Layout: open studio with a living area, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom space
• Setup time: around one hour once delivered
It’s designed to fit inside a standard shipping container for transport and then expand into a full home on-site. Pretty amazing concept, right?
As for the cost of the Casita, Boxabl’s website says they will finance 99% with $5oo down. Assuming that the down payment is 1% of the cost, that would put the Boxabl Casita at $50,000, not including, land, site prep, etc.
