    1. No, just no bathroom in the traditional sense… Mind that this is much smaller than most tiny houses.

      Usually they don’t go below 12′ x 8′ but this is 9′ x 5 1/2’… So it’s less than 50 Sq Ft!

There should be a portable toilet in the shed compartment, though…

  1. The pictures are too close to get a feel of the size and placement of the kitchen and living/sleep area. The exterior photo of a ‘bump out’ cannot be pictured from the interior shots. A drawing of the floor plan would help. This is basic living using coolers for cold items. If the bump out is not the wet bath, I’m guessing a portable toilet or outside facilities are used. There are many shelves to help with storage of your personal possessions.

    1. Portable toilet is what she said she was going to be putting in the shed compartment, shortly after she originally built it…

Note, though, that the entire structure is less than 50 Sq Ft…

  2. Hello Joyce, I do use a portable potty with a holding tank. The bump out over the tongue is a storage shed for tools, bins of seasonal clothing, tennis racket, heaters, etc. It has been great having this storage for things I did not want to store in the house. There is 5 feet between the sofa and the kitchen area, and when the bed is folded out, there is still a foot between it and the kitchen but about 2 feet on the side of the bed, so one can easily move around with the bed out. There is a little over 5 feet across the room, also, so there is lots of room to move around. I even have a ladder back chair in there, and I could probably get 3 or 4 more. I don’t use a cooler except to store my socks! Lol! It was moved to the storage shed. The storage shed also holds the propane tank used on the portable water heater.
I have a tiny refrigerator that holds my cream for coffee, some butter, and portions of beef or chicken I cook in the crockpot and then eat a little
every day. I can even get a small hunk of cheddar cheese in there. I don’t keep anything else that needs a frig. However, now that you mention it, an electric cooler would be easy to add.

The sink is 15″ square and 7″ deep, so is good for washing hair and taking baths, and drains into the sewer lines. There is also a hose with sprayer that provides a constant water supply to the sink for drinking, cooking, or washing. It is hooked up to the water line; so in essence, you can use the hookups at the RV park, even to empty the potty holding tank once or twice a week.
There is electricity through a port-a-plug from which a multioutlet unit is plugged providing plenty of electricity for lights, frig, fans, stove top, electric kettle, TV, computer, etc.

I hope this helps answer some questions for you. The Craigslist ad says even more. Thanks!

  3. One more thing. . .the portable potty is not in the shed. It is on one of the lower kitchen shelves, and no one can tell its there. There is no smell, and it has a nice design. The right additives keeps the smell completely under control, and I have used it full time for 8 months now and really love it. It is by Campco and was a present from my children when I built the house.
