Lessons from Wide-Body Tiny House Design

  • Flatbed Trailers Enable Width: Sitting over wheels rather than between them adds usable interior space
  • Steel Siding Offers Durability: Metal exterior withstands road travel and weather better than some alternatives
  • Width Changes Everything: Extra width dramatically improves livability without affecting towability
  • DIY-Friendly Design Matters: Simpler construction approaches make owner-building achievable
  • No Permit Threshold: Staying under size limits avoids special transport requirements

I’m looking for a copy of the Popomo plans. Does anybody have a pdf copy available? Tumbleweed informs me they no longer sell plans.

Leave your email address Thomas, I’m sure someone around here bought the book or plans when they were available.

Did you get a copy Thomas? I did buy the book then copied it to a USB that is now corrupted. I can’t access my plans anymore. My son built the vardo with plans I printed out. Wish I’d thought to print the popomo too.
