The shorter the tiny house, the more sacrifices you have to make. But Keri managed to get just about everything you could imagine in her 16 ft. tiny home, including an elevator bed (no lofts!), 3/4 bathroom, comfortable couch and an office/eating space!
Keri worked closely with a local builder, and was able to get all her designs realized in a beautiful THOW. It even has awesome exterior lighting that makes it look like light is peaking out of the slats like an old-fashioned barn.
She’s a business analyst who is now working remotely — she’s going to take her just-finished THOW to travel North America. You can follow her build process and future travels at her blog here. We got to do a Q&A with her, which you can read after the photo tour below!

This is the story of Brett and Jade Evans of Expedition Evans. They’re a married couple who have been living out of their ‘shortie-skoolie’, a short school bus conversion that they built themselves. After living the van life for a few years they saved up enough for a sailboat and ended up with a wrecked Beneteau 49 after winning it at auction.
So they have been spending their 2020 quarantine time fixing the damage and remodeling it into their perfect floating tiny home. Unfortunately due to the lockdown, they lost their jobs, but they are focused on redefining the odds for themselves and inspiring others to do the same through their YouTube Channel which has been growing fast. Take a look and learn more about their incredible story below.

This is a barn-style, shed-based tiny house that’s listed for sale for $2,800 out of Santa Rosa, California. Update: At this low price, please do your due diligence, because this could be a scam, as we have been informed by one of our readers in the comments. Please do not send any funds without proper due diligence.
The cabin is 12-ft. by 32-ft., built in 2001, and has approximately 384-sq.-ft. of space. It has vinyl flooring and carpet throughout. There’s a bathroom, kitchen, living area, and an 8-ft. by 12-ft. bedroom with a closet. May not be in the absolute freshest cabin, but this could be a good starting point for a rehab on this almost 20-year-old structure. That being said, it doesn’t seem very far from move-in ready, but what do you think?
