My name is Roger Monteiro, and my wife is Vanessa Helena. We build our small house in a small city in the south of Brazil. We both are programmers, and live happy in our tiny house. Oh yes, I almost forgot to say: We have three cats 🙂
In the neighbourhood, our house is called “Doll House.” This house was build using the traditional system here in Brazil (ceramic blocks with cement). Our house have about 65 m² (700 sq feet). Here go the pictures!

Lovely small house. The interior is a bit disorganized but lovely all the same.
lol. Thank’s for your comment Steven. We have so many cutlery, and not much space 🙂
thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.
You’re welcome!
I love it! Very cute, and much like a house we lived in in Germany, though smaller. I don’t think I could climb those stairs at this point, but this is one of the small houses on here that looks like a real house for real people, and not just a magazine piece to promote some builder or other.
It’s great to see lived-in homes 🙂
Thank you Phatkhat 🙂
Very nice! I really like the attic space (and I’ll bet the cats do too)!
Always great to utilize all your space!
Thank you for comment El. Our cats love (and use) the attic more than us =D
Nice pictures. Do you have layouts, dimensions; floor plans?
Thank you.
Ed Page
Hi Ed! We don’t have them here at Tiny House Talk, but if Robert and Vanessa see this they might have some 🙂
Hi Ed. Unfortunately I don’t have any plans 🙁 But I could say the dimensions: 4,5 x 8 meters. Same dimensions on the 2nd floor, with exceptions of balcony and bay window (balcony is about 3 x 1 meters). Thanks for comment!
I love the glass bricks in the stairwell, especially. Makes such a homey light. Great house, overall.
Those were a lovely touch.
For sure. Happy Holidays, Natalie.
Thanks Lee =D
You bet, Roger. Hope all is well.
Your home is beautiful and welcoming.
Thanks Ruth, you’re welcome!
I love this! It is so cozy and lovely! The attic room was a pleasant surprise. I didn’t expect it to keep climbing to a third floor! Everything is adorable and beautiful. Best wishes to you both!
They really made it theirs 🙂
Best wishes for you too Marsha!

Thank you Roger and Vanessa for sharing your beautifully lived and loved in home. It is so full of charm and personality. It’s homes such as yours that uphold and corroborate my desire to build a tiny home of my own. I just hope mine will be as cozy and welcoming as yours. Much happiness to you both.
Glad you enjoyed it Karen, it was really nice of them to share!
