The unhoused population in Fredericton, New Brunswick, where millionaire Marcel LeBrun lives, has been a growing problem for years. When LeBrun sold his start-up company, he decided to solve the problem himself — by building 99 permanent homes for his city. While he admits he could easily fill 200 homes, he thinks it’s a step in the right direction.
Besides full houses, complete with bathrooms and kitchens, the community will include a coffee shop and screen printing factory where residents will be able to work. There will also be mental health and other services on-site offered to residents. The gated community has plenty of security cameras to keep everyone safe. You know what they say about Texas — everything is bigger — including the Dome Homes. This incredible 1970s marvel is two stories and houses four bedrooms, three bathrooms, two living rooms, and a gorgeous atrium filled with live plants providing oxygen and color to the space.
Far from tiny, but super cool, this dome is still owned by the original builders and there are awesome construction pictures of the space inside. They recently added a huge deck to the front of the dome where you can relax or grill and enjoy views of the lake. They also have lake access so you can take a dip if you want to!

This is a gorgeous 24′ tiny house for sale in New Hampshire. It was a DIY build for a family that’s lived in it for three years, but it’s looking for a new owner. The exterior has a stunning mix of board and batten siding and corrugated metal, while the inside contains white shiplap and gorgeous stained wood floors.

These are fantastic tiny house plans by Vina Lustado of Sol Haus Design. The home was designed for a couple with a staggering height difference—he is 6’4″, and she is only 5′ tall! As such, they needed a home with extra head clearance to make living inside comfortable for him. The extra-tall tiny home requires special permits to move but allows for 6’6″ of clearance under the lofts.
This design has a first-floor flex room that could be a twin-sized bedroom or office and a loft with plenty of space for up to a Queen-sized bed. Depending on your needs, the secondary loft could be an office or storage area. What do you think of this design?
