J.P. is one cool guy who has lived nomadically for over two decades! He spent many years backpacking, then he started traveling on his motorcycle, and finally, he began RV travel and has lived in 5 different RVs. He had been eyeing the Revcon 4×4 for a few years and serendipitously found one on Instagram.
He took the 1993 rig and modernized it with all kinds of “smart” features, including Alexa-operated coffee, tea, and ice-makers! His entire roof is covered in solar panels, allowing him to run a mini-split, microwave, and tons of other electronics off-grid.

When Rob and Karen decided to travel North America instead of paying high property taxes and utility bills, they searched for the right vehicle and found this old oil field truck. Much tougher than a typical RV, it had a sturdy box on the back that they gutted and transformed into a fully functional tiny home.
The home features a deep sink, recirculating shower, and a pizza oven. But the standout feature is the elevator bed that descends from the ceiling with custom backrests, allowing them to lounge and watch TV or read in comfort.

Becca and Jason built an ultra-light truck bed camper featuring a California King-sized bed and actuating solar panels that provide power for their electrical setup. After previously building out a van, they wanted something with better off-road capability.
While truck campers have stricter weight and size limitations than vans, they found the square shape easier to design than a curved van interior. Their meticulous approach to every inch of space demonstrates what’s possible in a truck bed footprint.

Donna was ready to do something different with her life and originally thought about a Sprinter van or even an RV, but she wanted something she could customize and something with more windows and space—a shuttle bus seemed like the perfect fit for her.
She’s made it into such an amazing home! Donna chose a camp stove that she could move indoors and out, since she loves to cook “al fresco.” Her fixed Queen bed has lots of storage around it, and there’s a pull-out potty underneath. The best part is she spent under $18K for the entire conversion!

There’s a certain kind of getaway where you pull up to a place, take one look around, and immediately feel your shoulders drop. Fish Brook Farm in Liberty, New York, is exactly that. It’s a 65-acre property tucked into the Catskills with woods, fields, a creek running through it — and alpacas. The tiny cottage on the hill is about as simple and charming as it gets.
The cabin is a single-room structure with no plumbing, no loft, and just enough electricity to power a lamp and charge your phone. It’s glamping in the best sense of the word — stripped down to the essentials with a focus on the experience rather than the amenities. And with a 4.91-star rating from nearly 180 reviews on Airbnb, it’s clear that guests love the simplicity.
