This is the Firefly Tiny House on Wheels. It’s built by Core Housing Solutions as a “truly affordable tiny house” out of Leesburg, Florida for $32,000. It even has a main floor bedroom. What do you think?
It was built in 2018 and features 200-square-feet of space with a bedroom on the main level along with a kitchenette and bath. The living room seems tight but there’s room for two armchairs and a side table as you can see below. It’s a 24-foot tiny home.

It’s nice to see a few affordable homes listed again! This is very nice and amazingly not 80-100k!
Yeah, I’ve mentioned this one a couple of times when others were complaining that there were no lower cost tiny houses.
Core Housing Solutions LLC is a new company by Andrew Bennett, with Shari Chatterton and Bruce Chatterton.
Andrew Bennett is better known for his Trekker Trailer company that makes custom campers, including a Vardo style, and the occasional tiny house… Along with helping to found NOAH Certification as a Tiny House friendly alternative to RVIA certification…
These THOWs are constructed with SIPs with mass produced parts and standardized designs. So they’re not customizable and the finish is basic but they keep costs down and the home will still perform well with good insulation and durability but is also lighter than most tiny houses its size. Making it easier to tow than most and it’s move in ready…
There’s dozens of other companies out there as well with similar price ranges for at least their starting models… Some, like Incredible Tiny Homes will still offer customization options and some may go even lower with smaller models but there’s definitely more choices out there than many seem to realize…
Hey James, thanks for that additional info!

Like that it’s more affordable than most have been, while still being a decently designed tiny house.😊
This is nice. Classy. Love the paint color and how it fits very well. Kitchen isn’t bit but I can still handle that. Fridge is a nice size. Improvise and make it work. Really eye catching.
I like what I see in this one except the pathetic kitchen sink. If you arent planning on using pots and pans to cook in I guess that tiny round bowl sink is ok but I’d have to put in a real sink.
I have been in one of these. They are small. They are fine for one person. Andrew did a great job,but it still looks like a box instead of a house. If it had a /\ roof it would look more like a house.
Maybe but some houses are boxy… Like Adobe and Modern style houses, for example… So what a house should look like is more what you may just be used to or prefer…
Besides, it would cost more and the point of this was to keep the cost as low as possible for something affordable but still move in ready… For the price range, SIP construction has to be kept pretty straight forward and basic to avoid cost premiums.
Mind, for the price, most THOWs would be much smaller and require you to use a loft… So there’s that… and it’s also made to be much lighter and easier to tow than most THOWs its size, which adds cost savings while moving it as well…
So sure, budget standardized model designs like this can be very niche and not appeal to everyone but it’s for those who can’t or don’t want to pay 2-5 times more and just need a functional home…
I don’t understand why so many tiny homes waste precious space with a dinner table. Surely a portable table in front of a couch/armchair would be just as good?
Love how light and airy this feels. They really have done a wonderful job with layout.
Did I see that you’re in Leesburg, Florida? I’m from Lake County (Tavares) I’m thinking about moving back home and was wondering with all the mobilehome parks in the area, why hasn’t someone developed a tiny home community for seniors. I’m already downsizing and looking for the best tiny home for me and my 2 cats.
I would like to know is there any financing for these tiny homes available and a phone number to reach them to talk to them about purchasing a home. there is nothing in the advertising for this available…
Unfortunately, this company is no longer in business…
