Adorable Tiny Cottage on Scenic Alpaca Farm

Want a magical getaway on 65 acres in New York? This little cottage is just the spot, surrounded by woods, fields, and alpacas! There’s an outdoor shower, firepit, and a big comfortable bed for a romantic weekend.

The inside of the cabin is one room, with the bed looking out a large picture window. There’s also a little bookshelf and bench area to sit and eat a little snack before heading out to explore the area. What do you think?

Tin Roof Cabin on New York Farm

It looks magical in the winter.

There’s a nice firepit area.

There’s a little kettle and hot plate.

The cottage isn’t plumbed.

There’s a little bench area.

A beautiful bed next to the grand window.

You can pay a little extra for a delicious farm breakfast.

There’s a little path to the outhouse.

Here’s the outdoor shower (only available during the summer months).

Details:

Our tiny cabin on the hill overlooking the mountains is a perfect spot if you are looking to soak in the tranquil vibe, watch alpacas play, hike the woods, dip in the creek or just sit by the fire and watch the stars. It’s winter up here and there is so much to do! We are located 15min from cute Livingston Manor which has two large breweries, multiple boutique stores and restaurants. Liberty also has plenty of great restaurants. Holiday mountain ski resort is only 20min away.

There is a beautiful creek which runs across the whole property. You can hike, splash and sun bath as much as you wish.

The cabin has “outhouse” with compostable toilet and outdoor shower. We politely ask you to only use all natural soap, body soap since all the water drain back to the grounds. The cabin has simple electric but nothing extended. There is a lamp, kettle, French press and some room to plug in charger etc.
