I encourage you to see more below as it seems like a pretty good deal:
Kitchen and Downstairs Bedroom

Kitchen and Living Area

Bathroom with Shower

Bedroom

Exterior of this 8×24 Tiny Home on Wheels

This tiny house was bought by the current owners with the intention to put it on a permanent campsite but because of health issues the plans have changed.
Inside you’ll find a living area with table and chairs, kitchen, bathroom with toilet and shower, and more. It’s basically a cabin on wheels that can be used as a guest house, vacation cabin, rental, or for simple living.
The structure is approximately 10′ tall so it’s well under the 13’6″ minimum for towing on public roads. There are no holding tanks and no A/C installed right now. It also needs the taillights to be rewired before you get it back on the road.
If interested get in touch with the owner through this Craigslist listing while it’s still available:Â http://fortmyers.craigslist.org/lee/rvs/4360879883.html (Update: SOLD)

Wow. Looks bigger than 24′.
Yeah as long as it’s in good condition once inspected I think it’s a good deal.
How would you “inspect” it? A good builder?
Love your site.
Alex, it’s just up the road from you. You could buy it and park it outside your apartment 🙂
Lol, yup! 🙂
It looks like a dump. Look at the pictures. What is that on top of the toilet? Lol
Alex I love this site.
What??? No LOFT??? I thought that was illegal!!!!!!
I contacted them a few days ago and still haven’t received a reply. It might be sold already.
How much does it weigh is a concern . LOL Looks very nice though insurance is another concern.
would love to get the building plans for this. Alex to you know if he has any for sale?
I like this one a lot. Especially the side entrance. and the price is right for sure..
He might have meant 13.6 maximum – would keep you under most bridges – love the downstairs bedroom – very nice floor plan
A side note—if you decide to tow ANYTHING that is NOT DOT rated–like a semi amd even then!!!!–check with ALL towns on your route as to THEIR current bridge clearance. We live next to a town with a low train overpass–not always marked on maps and GPS—that is well BELOW the 13′ mark. This is SIGNED at many points inc the entrances to the town; the approach roads where you CAN turn around (and the alternate route is posted) and STILL drivers take the sharp turn after the low rated BRIDGE you have to cross and get STUCK under the overpass.
I am SURE that this is NOT the only place in the USA where you could get STUCK–which means—if you are LUCKY—taking the AIR out of the TIRES and then DRIVING on them to get you OUT—which can RUIN the rims–not a cheap repair—or worse; crowbarring the ROOF off.
I know several roads where there arre HUGE signs–and one with a not always manned GUARD HOUSE–down South where the semis are NOT allowed (roads are too narrow and twisty) but since they show on a GPS as a SHORTER route–semis go up them and then they can’t navigate and other people get KILLED. Be very aware of WHERE you are taking anything you drive or tow.
I would like to see the floor plan if possible.this baby looks pretty darn good for a guy like me . Thanks Alex I really enjoy this site
Thanks Rusty. I don’t have the floor plan available but I’m sure it can be sketched out pretty easily 🙂
How does the “downstairs” part work? Is there a basement under the building? How do you get down there? I’d like to see the entrance to it from inside the main building. Floor plans please!
There’s just one level Suze. I said downstairs because there’s usually an upstairs sleeping loft in tiny houses but not in this case. It’s just a one level design on a trailer with a bedroom instead of an upstairs sleeping loft.
Wonder where they plan to park it? Not in a legal spot along the over regulated Gulf Coast. That’s the big problem with tiny houses in S. Florida.
Then, there is always the interior boonies.
Yeah not sure! There are some rural areas around away from city where I’m sure it’s still not legal to live in but it’s certainly legal to park and store them in the yard (and there’s not many people watching)
Alex is this another Brenda pâté on east coast?
Hello. Does anyone know who will finance a tiny house trailer. Just trailer
I can see all of us in the silver hair crowd drooling! So many of the details are obscured by the lack of detail that shows in the pics. I wanted to see more like this sweet baby in the future!!
