Knick-knacks on stairs are cute… oops… I just tripped and broke my neck in seventeen-dozen places.
Hey Rev,
Funny! Those knick-knacks have wisely been removed. You can get up and down nice and easy these days.

Tyler did you build this home yourself? Or did you have it built?
Exactly my thoughts. *trip-THUD-THUD-THUD-THUD*
I think that was just for the pictures…to warm the space up..But I LOVE this one
Really cute tiny home. Love the living room. A wee bit more space in the loft would be great!
You would be surprised the space up there. I’m 6’2 and I can sit comfortably on the mattress!
Awesome!
Finally, something nearer to my neck of the woods! So many of these tiny house vacations seem to be on the other coast, or in the Deep South.
This one’s pretty nice….kitchen’s a bit small but I guess that space went to the table with the clever little gateleg extension. I do wonder what’s behind the curtain behind the couch?
Hey Rue,
Great question. Becca had a great idea to use that curtain as a pretty little blocker to hide our clothes. When we lived in it full-time we had our clothes back there. Access was easy and now our guests use it for their clothes as well.
Love the feel of the livingroom with its carpet, wall curtains, and the sheers on the front door, very cozy. No one can really see in while napping on the lounge sofa. Kitchen, bath and loft all well done! I could live there:))
Thanks Sharon! We love it! Come visit and stay awhile!
I Love All the Tiny House, because they are all different and all Fascinating evidently reflect the Happiness Dream Realized.
I think this is a very cute tiny house on wheels, although I am with Rev. Whats with the items on the stairs. It makes the stairs look too busy for one thing and they are a trip hazard for another lawsuit to be filed. Sorry but the nick nacks need to be on a shelf not the stairs.
Have no fears. Those items are not on the steps. We love our guests and consider their safety as paramount. The stairs are unobstructed.
Take care
Tyler
I wouldn’t feel safe without at least a well-anchored rail on the wall, too.
Hey Gigi
That is definitely our “to-do” list.
All the best.
Tyler
Nice to see a place that has a lounging area that doesn’t look like an afterthought. I also really like that the table is always available but can be expanded as needed. Beautifully done.
Very pretty and well thought-out. May I ask where you purchased the wonderful sofa/lounge? That’s one of the nicest I’ve ever seen, so I would like to include it in my dream list. Thanks!
We found the lounge sofa at IKEA. I always found they had creative and well-sized offerings for the Tiny House. The kitchen table is also an IKEA product.
Your tiny home looks very inviting. Damascus is a wonderful destination for the outdoors lover with the Creeper Trail, Mt Rogers National Recreation Area, and Grayson Highlands State Park.
Agreed!
