I love how clean and spacious this looks. It is not crowded with extra furniture and the bed idea is wonderful. I have been looking at plans for a couple of years and find ideas from different ones I would like to use. I’m disabled so there can’t be a loft to sleep in and I want a place for my six year old grandson to be able to spend the night and the bed system fits the bill perfectly. How do I get the plans for it? Thanks for the ideas. Angel
Angel, the link for the download is on Ana White’s website – http://www.ana-white.com/2016/06/free_plans/quartz-tiny-house-free-tiny-house-plans
She has the plans to build the furniture there free too.
I love this design!
It IS oversized so need a permit to travel, so maybe one for when you need to be on a trailer to meet building regulations but don’t plan to move the house often!
Hi Angel, glad you like it. Plans and more info are right here: http://www.ana-white.com/2016/06/free_plans/quartz-tiny-house-free-tiny-house-plans
Great, especially with the bathroom option.
I would build it without the loft and you have still sleeping space for four on 24′ which shows how efficient the floor plan is.
Well done!
Good idea!
Absolutely Beautiful home! All the craftsmanship that went into their home is just gorgeous! Love all your storage ideas regarding your dining room table and your benches that turn into seating along with your couch/storage/bed! Love the bed on the other side of the wall! Your ideas are incrediable! Thanks for sharing really enjoyed touring your lovely home!?
Thanks, Carol!
These folks are just the greatest…! I love that not only did they share their plans with others looking to build their own, but even gone ahead and modified them for the comforts of others who do want a wet bath included in their Tiny House.. You just can’t find good people like these folks… Thanks Guys and Happy New Year to you and yours….! And thanks for sharing your wonderful Tiny House…
Thanks, Zachary! I agree, we have the best people!
Really like the triple bed and your table design. It’s wonderful that you are sharing! Thanks.
Thanks, Patty! I agree, the triple bunk beds and table design are so awesome yet simple. So grateful they’re sharing too!
I would put a bathroom just pass the bedroom. Add 10 ft more for bathroom and a closet. The house would be 34ft long.
Love the bed and the multi use furniture I live in Puerto Rico and I could use a lot of your ideas Thank you for sharing
Thanks!
Impeccable! ( does not do a wrinkle)!
Ana is an amazing designer! Like Gina in another video.
I only would prefer a much bigger window “to look out” she says, and like others mentioned, a bathroom. Wasn’t aware that in Alaska you build dry houses “for maintenance reasons”, where do you make your business and wash yourself in Alaska, anyone been there? lol
Nice living arrangement for this type of TH. You’ve done a great job, Jacob and Ana. I am just wondering, if you are far enough away from the water line that the ground don’t sink under your TH? Otherwise, good job!
I’d come across this TH before, and although I like a lot about it’s design, I think most would agree the real star here is Ana! She and Jacob are so generous to offer not just the original plans for their amazing creation, but were thoughtful enough to include variations to accommodate more than their own needs/wants. People like the Whites are unfortunately too few and far between these days! I look forward to borrowing some, if not many of their ideas for my own project-to-be, however it takes shape. These two really deserve a serious high-5… Inspiring people, inspiring people. Thank you.
Ana White has done it again! She offers free woodworking plans and now free Tiny House plans. I would love to see the plan with a longer trailer to accommodate a bathroom. Dry cabins are common in Alaska so I understand her not including a bathroom in her design. Kudos! As a mom of two, I love that it sleeps 6. I appreciate her transforming desk/table as well.
Everyone has said it all — Not only is this a very flexible design, it is almost unheard of that people are willing to give their plans for free, and not only that furniture plans as well. Amazing and may God Bless them now and in the years to come!
I could see utilizing this plan — stretching it out to 36 foot adding a bathroom and enlarging the kitchen. I like how they did the loft and I would use the downstairs bedroom for closet and office space. Thank you for sharing your wonderful little home away from home.
It’s very generous and super awesome 🙂
Soooo, it’s a “dry house”. Where do you do your business and shower? Didn’t see where that was done.
Never heard of this ” dry house” previously.
I love this couple and their DIY blog with all it wonderful and easy to do plans and ideas. This tiny house is very nice, especially the triple bunk beds, but the rest of this house is just as practical and beautiful. Great job!
May be a dry house, and personally I have no problem with water being in bottles/jerry cans but I would have to add a toilet. Even a dry composting toilet with a bowl and bottler of water. Like the sleeping arrangement but would use the loft for storage and add a proper ladder fore safety.
Could you help me with a place to put the tiny house???
Without a bathroom it’s not a house … It’s a sleeper. I would have to make changes in that plan.
Actually you only have to go back 80 or so years to see that houses like this were fairly common. They had out houses, either attached to the house or built some way away. I grew up in a house with an attached out house and its no big deal. Really!
Yes, people tend to forget or not think about how houses go back centuries but indoor plumbing only really started since the 1930’s and didn’t really become wide spread until after the 1970’s…
So what defines a house can be as simple as three walls and a roof. Plus, it wasn’t always practical to keep everything in one building before modern infrastructure finally made it practical but you won’t always have that when living in remote areas, especially, off-grid or when nomadic…
Besides, this is in Alaska… Unless you can guarantee heating all year round then you have to worry about pipes freezing and bursting, causing insane amounts of costly damage if you’re ever gone from the home for any significant amount of time as temperatures there can drop well below zero during the winter. So dry cabins, etc. with an outhouse or other separate attached/detached structure, are still very common there and is usually what’s more practical…
Unfortunately, for some, clinging to the familiar won’t always be what works but while different, other ways still work and that ultimately is what matters…
Not to mention some people can’t stand the idea of a bathroom being in relatively close proximity to the kitchen and where they sleep. So YMMV, with some people preferring some separation and having the opposite reaction to this design…
I don’t see a bathroom in this house! One of the floor plans show one. That won’t work 🙂
love the house, looks spacious and serene!
Ana White is a genius. And a philanthropist. And she is beautiful. I’ve never even met her but I admire her tremendously. I have always loved her ideas and every house has another one for me to incorporate into the “ideal tiny house” I continuously design to pass the time in isolation. This time it’s the desk/dining table which is so versatile and such a massive improvement on the fold down models. She has even included desk drawers. And her triple decker bunk is beyond brilliant. I can’t imagine how many people are living better because she shares her ideas.
So true! She really is awesome.
