Clearstory Tiny House For Sale
Completed in October of 2014, this custom, clearstory design features 11 windows which let in an array of light, a rooftop balcony off the loft, an indoor/outdoor shower, including a gravity fed solar shower with freestanding enclosure/changing room for the summer months, handmade cushions by my brilliant seamstress of a Mother, reclaimed beetle kill pine ceiling, and many other outstanding features.
I have been living in this tiny house for the past two years and absolutely love it. I recently completed my second tiny house and would be happy to live in either but wanted to have two different options for potential buyers.

Not to be a spelling Nazi or anything but it should be “clerestory”. It’s the series of high windows in a wall.
Could be a play on words. Could be autocorrect. The way I see it, it’s their TH so they get to spell it the way they like. Grammah and spellin’ poleeese be darned. 😉
Sorry, I disagree. When things aren’t spelled right they can take on a whole different meaning. And that is confusing. And, in certain situations can be very expensive. Why, I recall back in 1965 (yes, I’m an old fart) my teacher telling our class how because of a simple error, a missed comma to be precise, a legal document took on a whole different meaning and the Government of the day had to pay serious money to have an amended contract redrafted. As I recall about ten thousand pounds. In today’s money probably about $400,ooo. New Zealand dollars that is by the way.
And yes, I’m a grammar Nazi. Even got a t shirt to prove it.

Clearstory is actually spelled correctly. It’s a name and it’s spelled exactly as they wanted it to be spelled. No different than one person spelling your name Eric vs spelling it Erik.
Sorry Lannette although it may be the name of the home, in the body of the article it says, “Completed in October of 2014, this custom, clearstory design…” So in that connotation it is misspelled. The house does have a rustic charm to it. There a several features that add to its appeal like the trap door so it is not so easy to fall from the sleeping loft and the solar outdoor shower are nice touches.
I stand corrected. I totally missed that.

Now this could be a little more in the direction of rustic, but I would have to agree with a fellow commenter as it needs more pictures, and some evidence of even a out house… They don’t even give a clear clarification as to what it is your buying…..

Dayam, that is cute. It looks like you have the perfect place for it, too. I have an outdoor shower, too. I love it in the summer. I have a bath indoors for winter. I can see why you loved living in this. I would, too. I had to laugh when I read that you’d gladly live in either. I have an idea for a second house, too, but I love this one so much, I’d have a hard time moving. That’s why I’m thinking of renting one out at a time. lol I can move back into the other if anyone moves out. Or I could just do B&B again. Ugh, too much work.
