Hi! My name is Amber Ritchie and I’m a single millennial woman dwelling solo in the East Lake neighborhood of metro-Atlanta, Georgia. I reside with my two cats, Ponyboy and Cherry.

My tiny home is actually a 462-square-foot rental apartment where I’ve created a personal design philosophy I call Tiny Maximalism: a way of living that embraces intentional abundance through vintage, secondhand, and inherited pieces.

After years of moving to new cities, I wanted a home that felt warm, practical, and deeply mine. I wanted to create a space that feels like a cozy witch’s cottage meets a 70s-inspired art installation. It’s small, but it’s full of life!

I moved into my tiny home during a transitional period of my life when I craved simplicity, quiet, and a sense of belonging. I wanted a space that felt intentional and cozy — where I could truly reconnect with myself. Downsizing helped me reset and build a life that feels more intentional. Every corner was designed with purpose and softness.

I have lived here for a year. One of the reasons I adore my space is because it’s cozy, manageable, and intentionally designed. I didn’t want minimalism, but I did want clarity and warmth. It’s my tiny temple: part sanctuary, part art project, part love letter to vintage weirdness.
