Remember the gorgeous Honeycrisp Cottage? This Timber Frame Retreat has an incredibly similar floor plan (sans the loft) and is also in Vermont! You get a queen-sized bed tucked into one corner with a giant picture window that looks out on the spruce forest beyond.
The 3/4 bathroom is closed off by a barn-style door, and a galley kitchen takes up the back wall of the cottage. You have all the appliances, sans an oven, to make some lovely meals during your stay. Because there’s no Wi-Fi, you can enjoy a truly unplugged experience! Could you live here?

So beautiful! Would like more info on wood-fired hot tub, like manufacturer, etc. many thanks!
I would have to say that as a rental, this is absolutely perfect! I love the whole vibe of the place but I tend to look at Tiny Houses as a place to live full-time so usually see changes I would make to make the Tiny into someplace I would feel like home and be more convenient. Wouldn’t have to change much, really. I would want a bigger refrigerator, of course, even though the one shown is adorable, and there would have to be a place for the big screen, right? And that corner shower could actually take up that entire end wall if the window was moved by just a little and who doesn’t love a nice big shower with a seat? Lose the fireplace…the TV would probably need to go there with a stand under it, hopefully with additional storage. So much more important than a fireplace. And I’d put a curtain by the end of the bed so I could pull it shut if I wanted more privacy. Not sure how to make those changes without seeing a floor plan, though. Might have to modify some windows or move the front door. I don’t know but if you build it from scratch, the changes could be incorporated into the new plan. Still similar. It really does have a nice feel to it and not putting this plan down, just that adjustments would need to be made if it was a residence instead of a rental. Kudos to the THN for always showing us interesting Tinies and giving us food for thought…sparking our imagination!
