I love Matt & Casandra’s story because it just goes to show you how addicting the tiny lifestyle can be. The couple took on this shuttle bus conversion project as a project to keep them busy during the lockdown. Matt specifically said they would never live in it full-time or sell their home: It was just for vacations.
But after about a month into their first adventure, Matt changed his mind. Both of them (@runaway.ladymay/Instagram) have jobs they can do remotely, so besides building out the skoolie and downsizing, it was an easy transition into the bus.
Now their home is on the market and they are ready for full-time adventuring. How fun! Tiny Home Tours sent us their amazing interview & tour with the couple which you can watch below.

He Said They’d Never Sell Their House (& It’s For Sale!)
Something tells me Kimberly is the kind of teacher we all wished we had growing up! This amazing woman lives with her cat and dog in her DIY Ford E-350 conversion. The former shuttle bus has everything she needs, including a very original shower set-up.
Because Kimberly (@she_van_igan) loves to cook, she made she to include a gas stove with as much counter space as she could muster. She even added a “china cabinet” shelf to display some beautiful plates she owns.
Her build is just another example that vanlife doesn’t have to be expensive to be functional. Hopefully her story inspires you to find the freedom you’re longing for. Watch the whole video from Tiny Home Tours below.

This Teacher and Her Pets Are Loving the Shuttle Bus Life!
John and Ina (@seawardshuttle on Instagram) bought this former nursing home shuttle bus and transformed it into a home (called the “Seaward Shuttle”) complete with surfboard and bike storage using many reclaimed materials and a lot of creativity.
They’re currently living off of their savings and enjoying traveling and surfing everywhere they go. They claim the bus feels spacious, and there’s even enough space for their beloved dog and a handful of houseplants. Make sure to watch the full video tour from Tiny Home Tours/YouTube below.
