This is a lakefront shed turned vacation villa out of Kissimmee, Florida (near Orlando).

It comes with an outdoor BBQ grill. Inside, you’ll find a bathroom, mirror, kitchenette, and your daybed. Starts at $55/night and you can book on Airbnb. See more info below. What do you think? Pretty cool what you can do even with just a shed as a base, right?

This is the story of a single father who wanted to simplify his life after divorce by living in a tiny house with zero debt so that he wouldn’t have to stress about money and be able to spend more quality time with his daughter.

So he converted a shed into his very own debt-free tiny home and has been living in it for over three years. He was even featured on HGTV! You can enjoy a video tour of his tiny home plus enjoy an interview with him below thanks to the folks at Our Journey to Bliss.

This is Randy’s Little Barn – and it’s adorable!

He took the run-down structure and turned it into a great guest house, complete with an indoor bunk and seating area, and a covered porch dining room. There’s even an outhouse with solar panels nearby. Hope you like it!

If you’re a work at home person you might just love this backyard office cabin.

It’s that kind of place where you don’t mind staying for hours and hours on end without interruptions.

I know I’d get a lot of writing, reading and research done in a place like this.

And you can even just become one with nature in this backyard office as you read, write, dream, etc.

Here’s a 150 sq. ft. cabin in Encinitas, California I thought you might enjoy. The first level is 120 sq. ft. and then there’s a 30 sq. ft. loft for sleeping. It’s available as a vacation rental so I’m excited to add it to our tiny house vacations section.

When you go inside, you’ll find all of this carefully packed into 150 square feet:

  • Full bathroom with shower and composting toilet
  • Kitchenette with mini fridge, sink, hotplate, toaster, and coffee maker
  • Living room with comfy couch

So, what do you think it would be like to live in a shed? Would you do it? How would you convert a shed into a tiny home? What do you think it would need?

I’ve always wondered this, especially whenever I pass by one of those places that sell sheds. Some of them look like they could be pretty nice!
