In a world where almost every van/tiny house/big house is “bright and airy,” it’s pretty fun to come across something stylish and — dark! The moody interior of this 2008 Chevrolet Express feels cozy and stylish in its own way, proving that you can use dark colors in a small space.
I also love how the van “has it all,” with a wet bath, kitchen with a two-burner stove, living/dining area, and a separate bed over the cab. This looks like a really comfortable design, perfect for a cross-country excursion. What do you think about the color scheme?

It’s designed for a cassette or other removable toilet.
One more look at the shower head.
The back window does really brighten the space.

I’m loving the porthole windows.

Sorry, but it is too dark.
Actually, I like the dark wood look. But add some trim on some edges in a sky blue color and that would make it pop nicely. Nice layout, I could see extended trips in this. Pull a trailer with some small motorcycles or scooters for on site transportation to get groceries or explore the local scene.
NICE❣️
Just my style. What’s the overall height? Only thing I’d change is to add a lil more height in the bedroom.
It states in the listing, “7’ Ceilings”… They added 14” with a roof raise from its original height…
I am aware of that. It does not state the overall height of vehicle to determine if any more can be added at bedroom area.
Oh, you definitely can, the original structure was a van so nowhere near the max road height. You should have over 5 feet before reaching that limit as they only raised it 14 inches, which should put it around 8 feet…
Some people will love it but I find it too dreary and depressing. For the record, I’m not the Eric who has left previous comments.
Hmm, not the same Eric as in Moon Knight, or Multiplicity, or Six degrees of separation?
@_@ (;-p)
I WANT IT!!!
Has everything I would ever want in one and the lay out is the best I’ve seen. Smart putting the bed over the cab and freeing up so much space for everything else. Excellent job! I want to jump in it and take off into the sunset! Or maybe the sunrise!
Nice conversion. Look heavy, how much weight did the conversion add? Sometimes those old busses have trouble getting up the hills. Well done all!
