Artist Michael Ostaski built this house truck in the 70s — long before the #skoolie or tiny house craze took off. He lived in it for 18 years, but is now ready to sell it to a new owner. While the vehicle drives, it’s not up for cross-country travel any longer.
That said, it would be a great for anyone with some land to use as a home or vacation property. It has a couple of lofts, lots of living space and a great kitchen. Check it out.

Recently we showed off Comak Tiny Home’s latest build, but here’s one from their archives that’s definitely worth taking a look at! Len and his late father had collected historic and local-to-Lancaster county firehouse artifacts and Len wanted a special place to display them.
Comak Tiny Homes did not disappoint, recreating a vintage firehouse and incorporating all Len’s memorabilia. There’s even a fireman’s pole! Len uses it as a vacation rental now, and he can always go in and take a trip down memory lane.

When EJ saw one of her friends head out traveling with his mom, she felt jealous and wanted that kind of freedom! Thankfully, her dad was totally on board with her plan and helped the 20-year-old completely transform this short bus into a raised-roof school bus tiny home.
She only spent $12k on the entire conversion, including the cost of the bus. And yes, it has a hidden toilet and shower! The kitchen cabinets are covered in gorgeous artwork that EJ created, and in deference to her bus’s name (Loki), she painted the exterior of the bus bright green.
