While climbing into the top bunk might have been fun when we were kids, it’s much less appealing as an adult. Loft bedrooms are a great option in tiny houses because they allow for maximization of space, BUT they have their drawbacks — especially if you have any mobility issues.

That’s why we decided to compile a list some of the best tiny houses with downstairs bedroom options we could find! We made a similar list back in 2016, but we wanted to make a part two with 52 more awesome examples of ground-floor sleeping options. From Murphy Beds to slide-out beds to full bedrooms, you’ll find it all in the list below!

Let us know which one is your favorite!

These are the top 20 most popular and shared tiny houses on wheels from 2019. This top 20 includes mostly larger tiny homes (park models) because they are becoming so popular. There’s also a travel trailer conversion and a portable micro cabin (not built on wheels but still portable), just for variety sake.

So these are some of the more popular and most shared tiny homes that we covered this year according to our statistics. Check them out, click on each to learn more and see the original post/tour of the home, and let us know which is your favorite in the comments. Also, what do you notice about them? Are you noticing a trend? People seem to like the really big tiny houses, right? Why do you think that is? Oh and by the way, happy new year! 🎉😊

This is the 36ft long and 10ft wide ‘Moby Dick’ tiny house shell built by Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses out of Durango, Colorado.

Technically the trailer base is 34′ long, but they wanted a four foot cantilever over the tongue that would serve as a “walk in closet”, so in the end the house averages out to 36′ long.

Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below. Thanks!

This is the story of Jessie Lipskin, a young lady from Manhattan who decided to buy an old 1966 GMC Greyhound bus on eBay for $7,000 to turn into her very own tiny home on wheels.

So Jessie spent the next three years and $70k professionally remodeling it, plus an additional $55,000 on various other expenses to repair and maintain it to make it what it is today. The bus is 40ft long and 10ft wide so it offers about 400 square feet.

By the way, she’s now selling the bus for an asking price of $149,000 because she has plans to travel internationally so if you’re interested in taking it off her hands it’s available and she’s considering all offers.
