Heather loved her successful career in the Bay Area — until she didn’t. Between 2020 and the wildfires, she felt trapped. She found an old army van/box truck and converted it into her home on wheels with her father’s help. She intentionally kept the exterior simple and “masculine” to protect herself while traveling alone. But the inside is anything but boring! The clean, “girly” finishes inside create a warm, inviting space for her to work as a leadership coach. Enjoy her tour and her tips for staying safe on the road as a solo female traveler.

Very pretty and comfortable : )
I like the exterior look and the compact size. However, for my taste it lacks a bathroom and shower, or did I missed it?
Good question! From what I could find, she’s using a Nature’s Head composting toilet that’s tucked away in one of the benches. As for the shower, it doesn’t look like she has one built in — she’s probably using a gym membership or outdoor setups while on the road. Pretty common with smaller and simple builds like this since it helps keep the limited living space open.
