Family’s Skoolie w/ Giant Solar Array

This post contains affiliate links.

This awesome family was on a mission to travel from Canada to Baja, Mexico — and they made it! They have enough solar power to provide electricity to nearly three buses —  which is quite impressive.

The husband and wife have two young kids who sleep in sleek bunks painted to their tastes. They kept a very open design with no upper cabinets to maximize visual clarity. What do you think?

From Canada to Baja in Their Converted School Bus

They have a sleek black and white color scheme.

Very intentionally, they didn’t add any upper cabinets.

The kids have bunks, and there’s a King-sized bed.

Amazing self build – just wondering about toys for the kids, saw bikes in in the video but nothing else – all that solar is amazing and the ability to work on line makes no this possible so Bravo Will you homeschool?

They show it in the video just before the bathroom… Under the Pantry is two “huge” drawers. The upper one has the kids books, and a few other things, and the lower one has the kids toys… They just didn’t show much of the exterior storage bays on the opposite side from where they keep the solar, propane, etc.
