Charming house and property. $180,000 seems to be opposite the whole point of a tiny house… though the article does say “tiny house friendly” so maybe I missed the point… perhaps the idea was that the RV hookup would accommodate a possible tiny house instead. Depending on where you are, $180,000 may be nothing compared to local prices. It’s not far from the cost of my current stick built house (which I bought used to keep new construction off the landscape). (Ecology and waste management was what I had in mind.)
Anyway… someone has a nice house for sale there. Wasn’t expecting to see it posted here, but I do see that the “potential for a tiny house” could be something to consider.
It said 3 bedrooms but I only saw 2. I can see how it would be considered tiny with the bedrooms as in order for everyone to have their own room the rest would be tiny. I think it’s really cute and with the land I believe that is a fair price.
I think that the couch in the living area is one of those that folds into a futon-like bed. If so – perhaps that is the 3rd ‘bedroom’ – which I consider to be a real stretch. Calling it a 2 bedroom with additional sleeper sofa would be more accurate. All said tho – it is a pretty nice looking little place! I have property in Oregon and the people across the street have an A-frame that is a little larger than this. While not my dream, I could live in one!
I love this. And for the area, not a bad price.
I am interested. This looks very nice.
