Clayton and Theresa had a long-time dream of traveling once they hit retirement. It took nearly 6 years to build out their dream rig, which is an 18-wheeler-turned-not-so-tiny home! This luxury conversion cost somewhere between $200-$250K, but for this couple, it was worth every penny.
This nomadic set-up has space for a jet-ski, motorcycle, and an electric bike, as well as a movie theater room, full kitchen, and separate shower and toilet rooms. There’s an entire second floor you can reach with a spiral staircase that houses their bed and living room. Amazing.

The couple is cute looking. This must be an extra heavy haul with the excess of furniture aboard meant for a conventional home. Is that a wood heater in their lounge area? If so it looks way too big for the room whereas a mini wood burner would do. I’m not impressed due to how messy and crowded the home is.

No, that actually depends on the design. A wood heater that functions as a furnace, for example, has adjustable output and may even be possible to be controlled by a thermostat. Heat can also be channeled to the rest of the home by various means. There are wood heaters that don’t even have to be inside the house.
In this case that’s a pellet stove and so functions like a furnace…
I am impressed. I love the two story. You guys are prepared for anything that may happen on the road. Enjoy your road trip.
