THIS IS UNIQUE IN THAT, THE EXTERIOR EXPRESSES A FUTURISTIC DESIGN PATTERN, WHILE THE INTERIOR SENDS A MESSAGE THAT IS HISTORIC AND RUSTIC IN FORM. IT SEEMS THAT THE TWO HAVE UNITED.

This is amazing. Always wanted to go there. Take pictures. Chilean food is so yummy. Domes look cozy. Love how they grow food, and reuse err waste. lol! Love his accent. The fact they get kids involved and help handicapped. Loved the video’s.

Not sure I’d want to live in such a glorified dome tent. What happens if the roof fabric is damaged..? Much more likely to happen than if it was made of wood or metal. And yes… I am well aware that Mongols have lived in them for millenia. Just not for me.

There’s nothing that would fit everyone but like most things you just patch it if it gets damaged. Fabric may be easier to damage but it is also easier to repair and cheaper to replace…

So it can appeal to those who like to DIY, keeping low initial costs, and in some remote locations it makes it easier to get the materials in without having to build roads, use heavy machinery, etc.

While it also makes it easier to take it all down and move it… So it has its niche, especially for those who want to live off-grid and get back to nature…
