Erica and Steve are the proud owners of a 24-foot tiny house already built and set up at the Orlando Lakefront tiny house community when they found it for sale. They wanted to simplify their lives and sell their big home, which had them in debt, and going tiny has nearly paid for itself and left them with so much more freedom!

They love being part of a community where they know their neighbors and the house meets all their needs. It has a King-sized bed in the loft bedroom, a cozy living room space that doubles as a full-time work-from-home office, and a full kitchen so they can enjoy home-cooked meals! Enjoy the tour below.

VIDEO: Living Large In A Tiny House Village: Debt-free And Thriving With Savings!

  • Erica and Steve had done the “normal” thing and gotten a large house and were up to their eyeballs in debt, and were considering downsizing to a condo.
  • When this tiny house in the Orlando Lakefront community popped up for sale, it seemed like the perfect option to simplify their lives.
  • The house has a loft bedroom with a king-sized bed, as well as a full kitchen which were both “musts” for this couple.
  • They live with their adorable dog, but he is unable to go up and down the “witch’s stairs” that lead to the bedroom.
  • While they don’t often entertain indoors, in Florida they can almost always meet up with friends outside.
