We’re really excited to introduce you to a new-to-us tiny house builder, Nordic & Spruce. The company was founded about three years ago, and they sell two THOW models at affordable prices. Below, we’ll show off their Weekender model. While most of their clients have purchased The Weekender to use as an Airbnb, it has tons of potential as a full-time residence as well.

- Modern matte textured black meat cladding on the eves
- Western cedar on the gable ends
- Large glass picture windows as well as a glass entry door
- Whitewashed spruce wood interior

As a minimalist, I always love the Scandinavian approach to tiny and small house design, so I am glad to see a US company doing something similar. This would make a great guest house or an apartment for a caregiver.
It is beautifully made and designed, but the kitchen lacks a stove/oven for preparing meals, even simple ones. And a microwave is not the way to go. So as nice as it is, it is overpriced.
No, prices aren’t based on ovens… Besides, you could just get an oven…
It makes me wonder about some people. You’re right, you could buy an oven. To your specific requirements. And to your price range.
Problem solved
Love the lay out. I don’t like the black. Instead of cook top I would put in a apartment size stove. I would put in the living area a Ikea Day bed,couch by day and bed by night. Where the bench is I would put a free standing closet. These are just my thoughts.
Love the simplicity but really would miss not having a window over the kitchen sink nor a small one in the bath. In a small space natural light is so important. I would change the microwave for a microwave/convection oven (for the occasional baking).
