Right now I want to give you a tour of a wonderful little cottage called the Rolling Bungalow. Best of all, if you really like it, you can buy the plans to build it yourself.

If you do all of the labor yourself it costs an estimated $17,000 (in 2014 dollars) to build. And you can do so on a 7’x20′ trailer. In total there’s 160 sq. ft. of living space inside without including the sleeping lofts. And the overall footprint is 8’6″ x 20′. I hope you enjoy the tour as much as I have. And if you really like it, you can even get the plans too! Please re-share and enjoy below.

If you’ve been wanting an affordable tiny house you’re at the right place right now because Dan Louche of Tiny Home Builders has created 160 sq. ft. tiny house plans just for that.

With these plans you can complete an 8’x20′ tiny home on wheels of your own for about $10k as long as you build it yourself. Not bad, right?

Well it gets even better because for a limited time Dan is giving away 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the plans to I Care Atlanta charity which helps end homelessness in the area.

And if that’s not good enough, it gets even better… You can pick your own price on the plans. Pay what you feel is right and what you can afford right now. Please enjoy and re-share below. And thanks for what you’re doing, Dan.

Update: Dan’s promotion is over. As far as I know, proceeds no longer go to charity and you cannot pick your own price on the plans. Sorry.

Most of you already know about Macy Miller. She’s the woman who built her own 196 sq. ft. DIY tiny house on wheels for only $11k.

Right now I wanted to give you a quick update because she’s recently put together a video for us where she gives you a full tour of her tiny home and explains how everything inside it works.

She took about 18 months from start to finish because she was working two jobs and doing volunteer work while building it. At the time that she made this video she’d been living in the tiny home for a year and 3 months. Enjoy!

Remember Alek’s amazing DIY tiny house on wheels that I showed you a while back?

If you haven’t seen it be sure you check it out because it’s one of my favorite designs.

And now I’m glad to announce that Alek has made the plans available for us to purchase.

This means you can download the plans and build a tiny home just like theirs.

Or you can take the SketchUp File he provides and customize it to your own needs more specifically (if you wanted).

I thought I’d let you know that Dee Williams and her team at PAD Tiny Houses have made the Sweet Pea tiny house design available to the public.

It’s a design that was created for their friend Gina who wanted a tiny house that she can maybe start a family in. What do you think? Can you see yourself starting a family in this tiny house? There’s a sleeping loft up top that’s able to accommodate mom and dad. Then there’s a pull-out bed below that would work for a child.

This is the Miter Box Tiny House on Wheels. It’s designed by Shelter Wise LLC in Portland. And for a while, back in 2013, it was part of the Tiny House Hotel in Portland, Oregon.

You can still buy the tiny house plans from PAD Tiny Houses (they’re currently selling for $79.00) and you can use those plans to build your own version of the Miter Box or you can hire a contractor to do it for you (using the plans).

This tiny house was completed in June 2013. Its nickname is “The Miter Box” because of the precision of the project. This 90 square foot house features a dining table that converts into a queen bed, much like in many RVs. In addition, it offers two other lofts. And the bathroom is a wet bath.

The Humblebee Porch tiny house plans are great because they’re livable.

With a total of 226-square-feet of living space, it should be enough for many simple folks out there.

My question is, does it have enough space for you? I’d love to learn about that in the comments later, but first see what you think of it below..

Tiny House Plans with a Side Entrance and Porch

Tiny homes with side entrances are starting to become some of my favorites. And when you add the large covered porch it’s even better.
