Meet Vicki: For the better part of a decade she’s been downsizing from her 1,800 square foot home. First down to around 600 and then to 400, and then to about 250 square feet when she retired.

But after three years living tiny, she decided she’d like an addition for guests like her son. And perhaps down the road she’ll choose to sleep down there rather than in her loft bedroom. I love that she isn’t allowing rules or perceptions to keep her from having a home that works for her and her needs!

She has her home in a lovely park in Tennessee, and there’s a huge deck with an outdoor shower overlooking woodlands. Enjoy the Tiny Home Tour below.

This is an awesome little THOW with a Nordic feel that would make a great home for one or two people, or also a nice Airbnb in the backyard.

It has no loft, but rather uses the main area as both bedroom and living space. Then there’s a small kitchen with hook-ups for a fridge, and also a bathroom which includes a mini tub.

The whole thing feels sleek and minimalist, and it’s selling in Tennessee for $34,500.

After writing a check for $65,000, Eric and Lindsay got the dreaded call: The builder for their tiny house was going out of business, leaving them with a very pricey, partially-done custom THOW they needed to pick up and finish on their own.

Determined to make the best of it, the couple completed the home themselves and the result is a stunning 33-foot gooseneck THOW with a steam room shower, and tons of other awesome amenities including an office space and “crawl-in” closet.

Believe it or not, they take this home on the road with them while travelling! Lindsay had owned a skoolie previously that was constantly needing repairs, and she wanted a tiny house that wasn’t tied to her vehicle. Watch the full interview with Tiny Home Tours below!

Rebekah worked closely with the designers at Mini Mansions Tiny Homes to create the THOW of her dreams. It’s the first place she’s lived on her own, and includes such an incredible amount of storage, including a regular-sized closet.

She has plenty of space for entertaining, and even a separate guest loft (although she confesses it’s really her cat’s loft 99% of the time, ha!). The best part? She’s decorated the home with a plethora of plants that give it such life.

Enjoy the video tour with Tiny Home Tours below.

Ashley and Chad spent one year taking their dreams of tiny living and bringing them to life building their very own DIY THOW. Now the couple is expecting a baby, and planning to continue their sustainable, mortgage-free life as a family of three!

They had a budget of $35K for the build, and came in spending about $40K for their 28-foot home on wheels. They did try to use second-hand and repurposed materials as much as possible, and designed the interior with a retro 70s flair. Neither of them had any building experience, so YouTube University taught them everything!

Right now they are parked on some farmland in British Columbia, and they talked to us about their tiny life below. Also, there’s a video tour from their YouTube channel you can enjoy.

This couple purchased a plot of land in the Pacific Northwest that happened to have a tiny house shell and trailer already onsite! Since he’s a master carpenter and she has experience in interior decorating, they decided to finish it themselves and sell their creation.

The result is a unique blend of modern, industrial and Scandinavian design elements that really meld into a masterpiece. I’m in love with it! And it’s for sale!

Trying to find affordable builder-made tiny homes has become more and more difficult recently, especially as the price of lumber and materials skyrockets! THT reader, Cynde, reminded us of Incredible Tiny Homes and their awesome work, especially if you are on a tighter budget.

“Where the Red Fern Grows” is one of the “Randy Jones Original” tiny homes, and without customization starts at just $25,000. It has a lovely rustic feel and would look perfect on a wooded lot just about anywhere.

While the home doesn’t have oodles of bells and whistles, it provides the necessities in a compact package! Contact the builder and get a quote here.
