Jon is a PC-gamer in law school and Christina is finishing up her Master’s degree. After a three-year long-distance relationship, Christina sold her 1200 square foot fixer-upper in North Carolina and moved down to Florida to live with Jon. She’d been a fan of tiny homes for a long time, and it seemed like a great chance for the couple to save money and pay down student loans.

They’re lucky enough to park on Jon’s parent’s land, and they used SIPs (structurally insulated panels) to create the frame and roof of the home. As such, all their walls are magnetic, which is kind of neat!

The home is 32’ long, 8.5’ wide, 13.5’ tall, and has two lofts — a Master loft with stair access, and then a craft/reading loft with a really neat sliding DIY ladder. Tiny Home Tours did a great video tour of the place which can watch below!

A woman in Maui commissioned Paradise Tiny Houses to build her a custom Oasis model complete with quartz countertops, a bathtub with a custom dome window, and an awesome fully-functional kitchen with an under-mount sink.

This will be her primary residence, and wow would I love to live in this beautiful build! By far the coolest feature of her home is the giant round picture window where they placed a dining area. It really allows you to feel like you’re eating outdoors and brings in tons of natural light.

Enjoy the photo tour of this gem below, and get in touch with the builder for your own Oasis (starts at $189K) here.

Built by MitchCraft Tiny Homes, Carrie and Dan’s 28×10-foot tiny house on wheels makes brilliant use of the extra-wide 10-foot footprint. It has two lofts with storage staircases, two entrances (one with a mudroom), a full kitchen with generous counter space, a soaking tub, a wood-burning stove, and a washer/dryer — all wrapped in colorful board-and-batten siding.

I came across this Polish tiny house company and wanted to share some of their tiny house models with you! This one, called the “Porto” is one of their larger models. It clocks in at 271 square feet, and they offer both a basic and comfort version depending on your budget.

This particular version of the home has pine clapboards on the ceilings, walls and floors, which contrast nicely with the darker cabinets and furniture they chose to put inside. There’s a 3/4 bathroom on one end, and a living area with a wardrobe on the other.

This home can sleep up to 6 people between the two lofts, and the couch downstairs. Take a look!

Emily is a lawyer in North Carolina who *just* moved into her gorgeous tiny house built by Mint Tiny House Company. She wanted her own thoughtfully-designed place, without needing to keep up with a 4-bedroom home — so she chose a tiny home!

She’s only been in it now for eight days, and the builder included everything she wanted, including a dishwasher and huge soaking tub! Her dog, Tipper, lives with her and is already finding himself at home.

We got to do a Q&A with Emily (@notteeny_justtiny) about why she went tiny and some advice she has for others. One big thing? Make sure you have parking lined up before you get too financially committed — she nearly lost her deposits when she couldn’t find a legal spot to put her home.

This week we got an email from a new tiny house/van conversion builder — Tiny Topanga based in Central Mexico and Southern California. The business started out as a side project, but they enjoyed building so much that they decided to keep going. Now they do van conversions and continue to build tiny homes on wheels and hope to spread the tiny lifestyle internationally!

Now their first build is for sale. It’s a beautiful 24×8 tiny house on wheels with 2 lofts. It has a steel frame and is ready to go off grid with clean and gray water tanks. What makes Tiny Topanga special are the handcrafted touches such as the talavera tile in the shower and kitchen, and the hand forged copper ceiling lamps.

Enjoy the photo tour below, or put in an offer here.

The Noyer XL takes an already fantastic tiny home and makes it nearly perfect. The original Noyer model had tons of selling points, and this one has added a main floor bedroom so no one *has* to sleep in a loft. Awesome!

The slightly elevated living room allows for more storage underneath for seasonal items or things you don’t need every day. There’s a galley kitchen with a hidden dishwasher and fridge, as well as a dining area with a large table for mealtimes.

The bathroom and loft look lovely, and the first-floor bedroom easily fits a queen and has built-in closets for clothing. Get your Noyer XL by contacting the builder here.

Meet the Almont 2.0, a 16-foot tiny house trailer that packs in all you need and leaves out a hard-to-access loft space. A sofa bed provides a spot to sleep in the main living area.

The house also has a compact bathroom with space for a toilet and shower stall, and a kitchenette area with a sink, mini fridge, and counterspace where you could put a convection oven or hot plate. This THOW is a great option for those really wanting to pare down, and starts at less than $40K, making it one of the more affordable professionally-built tiny homes on the market these days.
