Travis had mentioned the idea of RV living, and his wife, Yanai, was having none of it. But a few years later, Yanai lost her dad and the world had changed, allowing Travis to work remotely. She had a change of heart and needed a project to help her process her grief — so the couple got an RV and began the conversion for their family!

They are traveling the country with their two kids and are really loving the lifestyle change! Plus, the entire process has helped Yanai heal. Enjoy their video tour below.

When Chuck mentioned the idea of traveling the country in their renovated RV, Shannon was having none of it. But two weeks later, she fell down the Skoolie YouTube rabbit hole and was completely on board. They ended up selling their home, almost all their stuff, and purchasing their Class A RV completely debt-free!

Their debt-free lifestyle has allowed them to experiment with different online income streams and not work traditional jobs while they explore. They overhauled their RV with a lot of white paint, took out upper cabinets that were in the way, and replaced the couch. What do you think?

Five years ago, Chelsea and Diego hardly saw each other because of Diego’s work schedule. That’s when they decided to go tiny and purchased a new RV so Chelsea and the kids could follow Diego wherever he’s working as a pipeline welder.

The couple just welcomed their fourth child a couple months ago, and they all love RV life even if it requires some sacrifice of personal space. Two years into living in the RV they decided to start making renovations, and now every part of their home is as functional as it is beautiful!

You’ll love seeing the interior, but make sure to take time to read the Q&A with Chelsea below the photo tour! And follow the family on Instagram here.

Joy and Austin decided to downsize from their 850 sq. ft. apartment into a Sprinter 5th wheel so they could start saving money to eventually purchase a home of their own. This “tiny for awhile” mindset has really gained popularity lately, and it can be such a wise way to get started.

Paint goes a long way, and in the 7 months they’ve lived tiny they have really made their once-outdated camper into a stylish home sweet home. The RV has a master bedroom for Joy and Austin, and then a separate room for their baby.

We got to interview Joy about their tiny life, so be sure to check out that Q&A at the end of the post! You can follow the family to see more here.

RVs are becoming a popular option for minimalists who want to join the tiny house movement. While not as durable as their stick-built cousins, they are an awesome option for couples or families interested in seeing more of the country since they’re designed to be lightweight and portable.

This 2004 Holiday Rambler 5th Wheel has been completely renovated and turned into a stylish tiny house with farmhouse features.  There’s even a greenhouse window where you can grow some herbs!

The seller in California is asking $39,000 for the 39-foot RV that boasts 398 square feet of living space. You can get in touch at Tiny House Marketplace here.

Mandy had a remote job long before the pandemic, and she loved to travel. However, she didn’t love living out of a suitcase and leaving her dog, Opal, behind. So she decided camper life would give her the best of both worlds: A home base, and the chance to travel the United States.

So for the past three years, she’s gone up and down both coasts and across the southern US, and even into Canada where her pile of blankets came in handy. She says the best and worst part of camper life is the freedom: She can go wherever she wants, but she has to decide where to go!

You’ll love seeing her gorgeous RV renovation in her video interview with Tiny Home Tours. Check it out below, and follow Mandy on Instagram here.

Meet Brooke: She has a doctorate in physical therapy, but ultimately found herself longing to spend more time with her kids. That’s when she got into crocheting hats. A hobby soon became a successful business, and now she and her family travel around the country spreading the word about her amazing bobble hats, running her business, homeschooling and exploring the US.

So basically she’s amazing! Her husband, Jeff, is the director of sales for her business, so her amazing hat-crafting is enough to support the family of 5 — and they are completely debt-free, which is even cooler.

They didn’t do a ton of renovations to their brand new Grand Design 3740BH, but they have made it a home (and business!) worth admiring. Read our Q&A with Brooke at the end of the post, and buy one of her hats here!

High school sweethearts Alicia and Daniel decided it didn’t make sense to work full-time while in college to pay rent in two different places, so instead they pooled their money and purchased a used RV for $8,000 cash, and put another $4,000 into renovations (including an unforseen mold issue that ate up a lot of time and money).

The couple, now engaged, are living in an RV park while doing their college coursework and building a life together. They did a wonderful job with their renovation, including creating a special office workspace where they can both do schoolwork. There’s a daybed/couch in their living area, and an awesome coffee cabinet!

Enjoy the video interview with Tiny Home Tours below!
