Brooke of “Girl in the Woods” is an amazing woman — author of two books, filmmaker, builder, outdoor educator, speaker — who loves to spend time in the woods and built herself an amazing 10×7 vardo caravan in just 2 months!
She plans to use it for her camping adventures and included a foot-pump sink, adorable removable wood-burning stove, and an extra comfortable mattress to sleep on. well done. But I would have put in power hook up and water hook up.
I watched this video all the way to the end. What precision building! Even the mistakes were precisely handled. It is a lovely, cozy hide out, and I love it! Wonder if you could put a door out the back to access the area under the bed from outside, like in a van? You might want to examine your rain shield and see if it has a damper inside that wasn’t opening all the way. If so, perhaps it could be fixed and you could still use your rain shield. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this build, and I feel that I learned a lot, also. Thanks for sharing with us.
All I can sy is CONGRATULATIONS!! You should be very proud of yourself to say the least. Hank you so much for sharing with us your step by step construction saga. I watched from start to finish. And was soooo impressed with your perseverance, strength and ability, and I simply love every bit of it! Best wishes on yhe road!
