Janet has been living in her tiny house on wheels, built by Cornerstone Tiny Homes in Longwood, Florida, for 3 years. The home is RVIA certified and she’s now selling it for $40,000.

She’s used a great Murphy bed on the first floor while living there, but there’s also a loft as well. It has beautiful dual-colored wooden countertops, as well as a luxurious bathroom with a flush toilet and walk-in tiled shower with a built-in seat. For questions or to make an offer, you can send Janet, the seller, an email using the contact form at the bottom of this page.

This is the Elise model, handcrafted by the tiny house geniuses at Vagabond Haven in Sweden. It’s about 25.5 feet long, but packs in not only an adult loft, but a kids’ bedroom beneath the living room! What a fun layout that really maximizes the space in a tiny home.

In addition to the sleeping areas, Elise has a fully-functional kitchen with an oven and stovetop, as well as a great bathroom with a shower, composting toilet, and washer.

Turnkey, the home costs 48,000 EUR (or ~$57,000). You can even tow Elise with a normal car (and proper license), making it easy to transport to her new home! Contact the builder here.

Darcy, age 24, was about to buy her own home and jump into the world of mortgages, when her dad asked, “What about a boat?”

At first she thought he had to be kidding, but when he showed her the inside of this 60×12.5 widebeam, she saw a blank slate for her interior design skills (she designs kitchens for a living!). So she bought it, and has been living in it since February 2020 (although it’s only been in the water for a week).

She’s located outside of Nottinghamshire in England (follow her @boathousemidlands), and moors with a residential license which is cheaper than renting a place on her own. The size of the boat makes her wary of steering it on her own, but she gets to live on the water in the peace of nature instead of the hustle and bustle of city center!

While owning your own tiny home is the “dream,” Molly’s story shows you can enjoy the tiny life even while renting! Her home is parked in the backyard of a family who actually protested in their city to allow tiny homes as ADUs. Molly doesn’t have the stress of “where to park it,” and her landlord’s actions are opening up more options for affordable housing!

When she got a new dance partnership in the Salt Lake City, Utah, area, Molly revived her long-time dream of tiny living and found this great place to rent. She says that although she lives tiny, she wouldn’t say she’s a total minimalist — she keeps the things she loves and finds space for them!

We got to interview Molly about her tiny life, so be sure to check out the Q&A after her awesome photo tour below! Follow Molly on Instagram here. Enjoy.

Jesse started his tiny journey as a van-lifer, before upgrading to his own DIY tiny house on wheels, with clapboarding inside and out created from old fencing that was going to be thrown away!

The use of reclaimed materials allowed him to spend just $20,000 on his home. Jesse (@_moving_castles) even built the house around old windows he had salvaged. The whole thing runs off-the-grid, with a solar setup and rainwater collection system that feeds the home’s plumbing and indoor shower (he chose an outhouse for his toilet, since he didn’t want bathroom germs mixing with his kitchen area).

I particularly love the layout of his THOW, with the staircase at the back of the home, allowing more useable space in the main living areas. Enjoy the video tour with Bryce from Living Big in a Tiny House at the end of the post.
