If you’ve been following #skoolies for awhile, you’ll know that converting a school bus is a lot of work! What if you could get one that’s mostly complete? While this bus does need some updates (a few cracked windows and mechanical issues), the roof is raised and the interior looks stunning.

You’ll find an L-shaped kitchen, breakfast bar looking out the windows, a private toilet room and a glass shower that separates the spacious bedroom from the rest of the house. There are more details below the pictures!

This beautiful Baluchon tiny home was built for Sarah, who loves cooking! That’s why she wanted a spacious kitchen — complete with a four-burner oven/stove — as the focal point of her tiny home. She called it “Pètillante” which means “Sparkling” or “Bubbly.”

The whole build is bright and open, with a huge picture window in the living room, lightly-colored walls and ceiling, and the bedroom tucked away in the loft. She also has a glass shower and composting toilet. Would you live here?

Jonnie wanted to get into travel nursing, and van life seemed like a perfect option for that lifestyle. It turns out that once she started building vans, other people wanted her to build theirs! She builds vans (MidWest Van Builders) and does travel nursing between builds.

Her van has a shower, toilet, and beautiful walnut accents. She chose to run her bed lengthwise, so there’s no need to climb over anyone to get in/out of bed. What a remarkable journey she is on! Oh, and the Dachshund comforter is just the cutest.

There’s no chance of this family being caught without power! Dad Derek got the wild idea to move his wife and two young kids into a school bus, and he pulled out all the stops with his brilliantly designed solar system, a fold-down bench seat for safe car seat travel, and large IKEA-mattress-sized bunks for his little ones to grow into.

They have a big kitchen with some cool dual-drawers that hide knives from little fingers, and an awesome toy/book drawer. Raising their kids on the road has given them amazing opportunities, and they look forward to “road-schooling” for years to come.

While it might be almost twice the size of many THOWs, this little foundation home is still quite compact compared to the McMansions all over the U.S. And it comes with 3.5 acres of land! Perfect for starting a little homestead — or just enjoying privacy.

The house is on sale for $150,000 and sits in Sheridan, Arkansas. It has one bedroom, one bath, and a beautiful farmhouse-chic kitchen. There’s also a wrap-around porch and carport. What a deal!

Earlier we shared Jasper’s awesome box truck conversion that he lived in on and off for about four years. At the start of 2022, he made a major life shift and purchased a fifth wheel (brand new!) which he is living in with his girlfriend, two dogs, and soon-to-be baby!

Even though their fifth wheel is obviously mobile, the couple is putting down roots on Vancouver Island and staying put for now. He is a super cool content creator and I think you’ll enjoy checking out his new digs.

Nelson’s son, Coley, suffered a stroke four years ago. It took three years of constant care for Coley to become medically stable, and in that time, Nelson left his full-time job to be Coley’s full-time caretaker. The two began taking shorter trips along the coast, which soon evolved into longer ones.

Eventually, Nelson found his 40-foot Blue Bird bus and spent 5 weeks converting it into a home for the two of them. Nelson has loved the community that comes along with bus life, and taking his son to see what the world has to offer!

Back in 2018, Jasper had two choices: Van Life or Homelessness. He managed to find a box truck and outfit it to make it a home, but as soon as he got back on his feet he returned to “sticks and bricks.” That’s when he found himself quite unhappy and decided to revamp his box truck and make it an awesome condo on wheels.

Since this video aired, Jasper and his partner actually purchased a fifth wheel RV since they’re expecting a baby! Pretty cool that he’s still enjoying a nomadic life even as their family is growing. Still, his box truck conversion was (is) really neat and even included a full PC gaming area.
