Hitched Traveling Wedding Chapel by Movable Roots

We’ve seen little churches turned into tiny homes in the past, but this tiny chapel was explicitly built as a mobile wedding venue! It was designed as a commercial building for Hitched Traveling Wedding Chapel by Movable Roots.

Its minimalist chapel design has beautiful arched windows, white shiplap, and honey-colored hardwood floors. It would make the perfect venue for an elopement or small, intimate ceremony. What do you think?

What a beautiful and clever THOW!
Just thinking how someone could create a fairy tale venue for their big day. I’m always drawn to the architecture of churches. Combined with the tiny ambience, 10/10!!!!

What a lovely idea! Absolutely ideal for small and affordable weddings. It would be fun if each side was a slide out so a few more guests could comfortably sit. Of course the Gothic windows and the steeple do make it look more like a church but I might choose to make it a bit more neutral…but still chapel-like…by taking off the steeple and not having Gothic shaped side windows. Keep the shiplap and white color, of course, and the nice dormer look with a porch. That way it could work for every kind of wedding. Change the inside decorations to match the preferences of whoever was getting married. Just fabulous!

It’s pretty adorable. I would love to see it with pews, etc.
I assume the idea is that it comes to where the wedding is?

      Hi W,

Thank you for your lovely comment! We’re glad you find the traveling wedding chapel adorable. Yes, the idea is that this chapel can travel to your chosen wedding location, making it a unique and convenient option for couples.

Having pews and other traditional elements could indeed add to its charm. Great suggestion!

Thanks again for your feedback and for being part of the Tiny House Talk community!

      Best,
      Alex
