Couple Living Tiny with a Baby

Nothing like a custom carving to welcome guests to your tiny house.

Starting out tiny, in my opinion, is one of the smartest things you can do.

Imagine if you had started your life out tiny, with little to no debt, all mostly thanks to a tiny house.

It’s encouraging to see that it can even be done with a baby, too.

And you can still have room for all of the toys.

Storage basket.

Hanging toys.

This tiny house has lots of storage.

Kitchen window, microwave, vertical knife storage.

The air conditioning unit.

Look at all of the storage they built into this house!

Nice and cozy, and safe, in the loft.

Bathroom with washer and dryer.

They have an RV-style flush toilet.

Bumper guards for the baby, hehe.

Storage steps.

Got to have lots of diapers stored.

Even more storage up there.

Drawer in the steps.

Family life in a tiny house.

Love it. Adorable family and home! Really nice storage ideas too
You KNOW I love you, Alex… have been a follower of “tinyhousetalk” for years — however, when I come on your site lately, it takes forever and a day to load anything to see, to scroll down on your post… i.e. I keep getting messages in the lower left: fonts, cache, etc. loading.. Is it your ads or side photos that take long to upload on my laptop? Well, just wanted you to know that I’d come on more often, but it is VERY FRUSTRATING. I guess it is ME, since I don’t see any other complaints from others with loading times for your posts. Sorry. :\ –gv
Hmm…I don’t think I see what you are experiencing. It doesn’t take long to open or look at whatever links there are in the newsletter. Sorry! Is it maybe your connection? I’m no techy, so you will have to ask your local geek about this. But I don’t think it’s the ads or side photos!
I agree, I think it’s your connection or your compuer.
Have you tried emptying your cache? If your connection is weak (translation: if you have an ISP who is short-changing you on your bandwidth) you might want to consider going to a pocket Wi-Fi like Cricket (with AT&T) or a FIOS connection. Have you tried an Ookla (speed test) yet? Go to speed test dot net and see if your combined speeds (upload and download speeds) equals 7.0; which is a good average speed for internet service. You could also take your LT to Best Buy and have the Geek Squad look it over to see if you have a bunch of malware that could be deleted to speed up your service. Just some suggestions….
This happens to me as well, tablet and laptop. It is a bad connection apparently, Sumner holidays now so good but when schools are back next week – on the same internet cable as the local primary and secondary schools – the problem will be back, but at least it tells me when the computer classes are on. It can also, according to an IT friend, be caused by a problem with a server being under strain, maybe cause of a sports match or a really popular program being watched over the internet rather than the conventional TV, or a slow down of your computer or tablet maybe due to storage problems or cookies or a virus. I have been told the causes are myriad and will be likely to differ between users/sufferers. Not much help I know, we use a mobile phone for internet connection when the problem is really bad, and something like a satellite connection of your very own can be the only permanent remedy though cost renders this applicable only to serious business users like said IT friend (who uses a satellite connection because they run a publishing business from where they live so good connection is essential).
There’s an amazing amount of storage in this TH. The layout is unique and very functional, especially with a baby. Great job.
Love it. Excellent use of space and storage…and real stairs. It CAN be done, even with a baby. This couple will save enough living like this that if they need to get something bigger when Little Guy does, shouldn’t be a problem. I don’t see any more safety issues with this house than any other.
Hi, guys I saw this before and loved it. This update is spectacular! I am older and have a home, but love to peruse the tiny houses. Love yours! And I wish I lived close—I would LOVE to babysit that beautiful baby you have–so happy!
Thank you so much for sharing your little family and your tiny home with us. Personally, I think both are great! Have a wonderful hope filled life and God bless each of you on your happy trails!
Gloria I have the same problems. Took over 5 min to do comment. not all do this but enough it is a real problem. Son says it’s on their end.
And your son knows this how? Could be that your computer has issues. How old is it? I’ve got a PC that has been running pretty much non stop for 4 years. Every now and again it throws a hissy fit when I am typing and then some seconds later (always seems an eternity though) the letters appear on screen. Maybe you need to reinstall the operating system. Possibly there is some malware on it. Could be traffic congestion in your area… population size is???
Not a single issue here with this website, ever. Loads super fast and smooth.
Cute family, cute house. They look so happy. 🙂
This is so cute! I love love all the storage that you have! Congrats on making it work for you 🙂
