Do you remember Hunter? Samantha and Herb’s amazing vintage caravan conversion? Well, after completing that build and before traveling in it full-time, Samantha and a friend converted two more vintage trailers! One of them is this beautiful orange-and-green “Clementine.”
The trailer was very dated in the beginning, with dark paneling and a 70s green stove. Now it’s bright and airy, with an updated layout that includes a little desk area. Enjoy the photos below!

Second Caravan Conversion from Interior Designer
Here’s where Clementine started.
You can see how cramped the back area was at first.
But wow how paint changes things!
It appears it hadn’t been touched since its heyday.
But now it enjoys a mid-century Modern flair.
Removing the wall and sliding the bed over makes things feel spacious.
I’m loving this funky upholstery choice!
From Samantha:
I also renovated two other vintage caravans with a friend. These vans became known as Daisy and Clementine. Both names were chosen for not only their vintage appeal, but the vans decor and external paintwork were inspired by their upholstery interiors which set the tone for the whole project. Both vans were renovated and flipped in just a few short fews and sold to their new owners.
