Tiny House Furniture: Sofa to Bunk Bed in 14 Seconds

If you’re thinking about living in a tiny house or even just downsizing to a smaller house, you’ve probably been thinking about space-saving tiny house furniture… And today I wanted to show you this sofa that converts into a bunk bed in just a few seconds.

It’s a foreign product that’s probably really expensive and completely unobtainable for those of us like you and me who want to live simply so we can also live affordably. But either way- I thought it was worth sharing because who knows? It might inspire somebody to create a DIY version- with a how-to- that’s more affordable (crossing my fingers).

I think that is very clever. It adds extra beds without wasting space.

$1,760 US dollars. Plus shipping. Nice but pricey.

The bunk bed berth has a weight capacity of 140 lbs and is geared for children and young adults so it could work in a small home with kids or a college dorm room.

Whoa! Can I see that again? So fast! I love truly practical furniture, and this is one I really love! Can I get it here in NC?

140 lbs weight limit!!?? thats absurd. especially for fat americans. if you are getting it for kids, they better not grow up unless they are quite petit. and knowing how rough kids are on furniture and like to have company, having something so delicate is just not practical.

God Bless Engineers!!!! We need MORE of them and less of the Day-Trader’s and other parasites. I’m sure that in a year’s time, IKEA will have copied this and will sell it for $800.00 bucks with choice of fabric.

I’m wondering if that 140 pound weight limit is also for the bottom bunk? If so, someone weighing more than 140 pounds doesn’t have far to fall. 😀

Ugh, I want one so badly. It would be great for sleepovers or when the family comes over. This website seems to be for the US, there is no price listed, but you can get a quote. Very similar. http://resourcefurniture.com/product/palazzo/
