We’re excited to introduce you to the UK-based campervan conversion company, Vanpuravida! Started by Jose and Cecile, the couple loved traveling together and then decided to settle down when they had a baby. That’s when the idea for campervan conversions came to them and they’ve been doing amazing bespoke conversions ever since.

Below you’ll see Polly, a version of their Alps layout that can sit and sleep up to 5 people! They created this van as part of a giveaway in order to provide a campervan option for larger families. Enjoy our interview with Cecile below and check out this incredible conversion.

Here’s a lovely van conversion with a boho-chic aesthetic and a bathroom with a hot shower and dry-flush toilet (no tanks!). It’s built out of a 2019 Ram Promaster and has been used as a rental van most recently, but could easily become your full-time home.

The van has a dinette in the back that converts to a queen-sized bed at night, and there’s a large projector so you can watch movies at night. The kitchen is split with the sink on one side and the burners and chest refrigerator on the other side. It’s for sale in Pasadena, California for $96,000.

About a year ago, the couple decided to get separate rigs and still caravan together, that way they could enjoy exploring together but have a little more personal space. Keko’s nomadic life started in 2020. His job went remote, and he escaped the US and went to Mexico to wait out the lockdowns. When it was time to come home, he decided to do something different and chose to purchase a van. But he actually lived in the van during the conversion process, starting out with just a couple of totes and an air mattress.

Today his stealthy rig boasts a unique floor storage system. He built up the floor using extruded aluminum — 12 inches in the living room space and 18 inches back in the kitchen area — to allow him to keep all his goods tucked underneath him. A convertible couch/bed provides him a spot to sleep and a single skylight lets light in. What do you think of this fascinating design?

Big Bear Vans got its start when the owners converted an old ambulance to travel with their three kids. That turned into creating several more conversions and custom builds for others!

But now they have a team of engineers, designers, and van builders, a CNC machine, professional equipment, and a big garage shop! Now they’ve converted about 50 custom vans, all different and unique. They even plan to sell custom CNC-cut van cabinetry kits, elevator beds, and showers via an online shop very soon.

Below you’ll see their signature Santa Monica model which sleeps 4 people between an elevator bed and a double seat! You’re going to love it.

She decided to rise above the pain and enjoy her hard work!

Now that she’s tasted nomadic life, she has no intentions of going back to “normal.” She’s found an incredible community to support her as she learns the ropes of solo van life. Her van has a great U-shaped dinette and a hidden toilet! What do you think?

Tommy and Ashley met in Hawaii and after doing some assorted mission work, they met another couple who lived in a van, and they were inspired to try out nomadic life for themselves. Highly averse to debt, they decided to take a loan out on a 0% interest credit card and complete the build for the $15K they were approved for, promising to pay it back before the interest kicked in.

Amazingly, they did just that and were able to sell their first van, pay off the credit card and then use the funds to convert a second van (seen below). This van was designed with their toddler son in mind, and they were able to include a little play cubby for him, along with a bench seat that gives them an extra safe spot to put his car seat. What do you think of their conversion?

Alex was the last person her friends and family thought would jump into nomadic life since she was never a very outdoorsy type. That said, when her mother passed away from cancer, she wanted to do something different and got a job opportunity with Tiny Home Tours that allowed her to live in one of their buses.

After living in that bus for a while, she had fallen in love with #buslife enough to get her own vehicle! So she purchased a professionally-built van. Her conversion includes a bathroom, a U-shaped dinette that converts into a bed, and a lovely little kitchen. Enjoy the tour below!
