This is one woman’s amazing DIY tree house in Miami where she raised her three children.

Outside, you’ll notice a huge tree with a cozy home tucked inside its strong branches. The farm on which this house is located has many other small huts and structures, so you get a different look depending on what you focus on.

When you go inside, you’ll find her open-air bedroom. She has a queen bed up against one wall with a railing for safety. The wide roof overhang keeps her dry and she wakes up to the gentle breeze from outside. The main living space has the same open-air feel with similar wide roof overhangs. When you go inside, you’ll find a desk, couch, and a full kitchenette with a sink, refrigerator and a three-burner stove and oven.

Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below. Thank you!

Ever wanted to live in the trees? This is a village of tiny homes near the Arctic circle that includes a “mirrorcube,” “nest,” and “UFO” treehouse!

Outside, you’ll notice the UFO house looks like something from outer space with a mechanical staircase that lowers to the ground welcoming earthling visitors. The mirrorcube looks like it sounds – a giant cube of glass which hides in the trees because it reflects them. The nest house looks like the home of a prehistoric bird that also blends in with its surroundings. The other treehouses are a variety of shapes and colors – some more traditional, and others more unique.

When you go inside the UFO home, it looks like a cozy place to stay for an intergalactic flight with plenty of beds and couches in the round space. In the mirrorcube, you’ll find yourself surrounded by plywood paneling with windows looking out on the beautiful forest view. The inside of the nest has wood panels and also two bedrooms: one with a queen bed and another with bunks for children. You can get a view of all of treehouses by watching the video below!

When this teenager needed to get out of the house, Molecule Tiny Homes came to the rescue to help the family build this 6×10 treehouse-inspired tiny home that’s 16′ tall!

Best of all, it was built using mostly scrap materials and reclaimed lumber. Even better, it only took them a week to finish it! Talk about professionals…

If you’re interested in something like this (NOT on wheels) it’s possible for Molecule to design and build a similar unit for you and it can be transported on its side to your location. Pretty cool, right?

How would you like to have this tiny little escape in your backyard? I’d rent my house out and move in the backyard to live rent-free while someone else helps pay the mortgage! How about you? Either way- please enjoy and re-share this one with your tiny house friends below. Thanks!

This 210 square feet modern treehouse tiny home by Baumraum architects.

The reason it was built was for a group of scouts in the area so they can camp and stay in it on the almke camp site.

Before you even get up to the cabin using the staircase you notice there are two micro structures separated by a common outdoor deck area.

And each one is slightly different in terms of elevation (see what I mean below).

After serving as CEO of Virgin America most people would think you’d find Fred Reid in a large luxurious home. But that’s not him. Instead he’s kept his small home and built a tiny cabin as a backyard office as well as an elevated treehouse cabin up in the trees.

I had to share this amazing video, interview and guided tour with you where you get to see his homestead in Sonoma County. This is where his small house, backyard micro cabin, and elevated treehouse are at. And one of the best parts is that his land is located in a Redwoods forest.
