These are tiny floating zen cabins that we’re lucky enough to tour and learn about thanks to Faircompanies.

From the outside, you’ll notice tiny stucco-covered tea rooms with shingled roofs. One is at the top of a tree, and another is hanging between two large ladder-like structures.

When you go inside one, you’ll find cream walls, wooden floors and a hearth. The other is lined with wood panels and has a table for sipping tea.

This is the Burl Treehouse at Treehouse Point.

From the outside, you’ll notice a long breezeway leading to a small hut wrapped around one side of a tree with a shingled roof and walls.

When you go inside, you’ll find a cozy sitting area with two leather chairs near a bay of windows, a lofted bedroom for sleeping in the trees, and a porch with forest views.

This is the bird’s nest treehouse by Hiroshi Nakamura.

From the outside, you’ll notice a glass sliding door that leads into a “tearoom.” The exterior is a grey canvas-looking material with a unique roofline, and there’s a large wrap-around deck.

When you go inside, you’ll find a wooden bench, small tea-table, and a wood burning stove.

This is a tree cabin on a permaculture farm in Miami, Florida.

Outside, you’ll notice a staircase that leads to the third floor of this geometric wooden treehouse.

When you go inside, you’ll find an open-air bedroom with a full-sized bed covered in a mosquito net. A shared kitchen, laundry facilities, bathroom, outdoor shower, and a shared patio area sit on ground level near the treehouse.
