This is a private and secluded treehouse in Vermont, built using locally sourced lumber from the area. It has a beautiful loft bedroom (you can stand in it), and the balcony was made from sticks gathered onsite!

The open-concept space includes a living room and L-shaped kitchen, while the outhouse and outdoor shower are just a few steps away from the stairs that lead to the deck. What a great spot for a romantic getaway!

In Quebec, near the small town of Tingwick, you’ll find this incredible treehouse on 15 acres of woodland. The tree house is one of two vacation rentals on the property. The home of the host, and a large “spa” which is a central hang-out space with a kitchen, patio, and other little luxuries also share the acreage.

The treehouse itself has panoramic views of the forest and is a hotel room in the trees, with a large bed, couch, seating for two, and a wood stove for warmth. An outhouse stands at the bottom of the treehouse, and there’s a shared bathhouse near the spa. What do you think?

This beautiful wooden cottage on stilts stands tall next to a gorgeous forest in La Rioja, Spain, giving you a grand treehouse experience. It’s a private spot that includes all the comforts of a regular bathroom, Wi-Fi, and a cozy electric fireplace, but still lets you feel at one with nature through the large windows that make up two sides of the cabin.

While the home is set up studio-style, the bedroom is separated visually from the rest of the space with a couple of steps. The elevated platform includes a queen bed and a private bathroom. On the lower level, you’ll find a table for four, twin bunk beds, and a microwave/mini-fridge. You can sip coffee or wine out on the covered front balcony.

Treehouses are always cool, but one designed by Pete Nelson of the Treehouse Masters TV show is extra remarkable! Unlike many tree houses you’ll find today, this one is solely supported by the surrounding trees and sways with them. The treehouse is located in Coupeville, Washington. It has a first-floor bedroom and a loft area with a large daybed-like couch that you could also sleep on.

There’s a galley kitchen area with basic appliances (no large oven) and a sitting area that opens up to the porch via big French doors. The large deck has a spot for a hammock and a gas grill. Inside, there’s a bathroom with standard plumbing for a toilet and a full-sized shower stall. Enjoy incredible views and a private spot in the trees.

A treehouse. In the woods. With a clear roof. The Whispering Wind Treehouse is truly remarkable as a cozy getaway with privacy, gorgeous views, and rustic charm.

The off-grid cabin is more glamping than a hotel stay, without any running water and just a strand of solar-powered globe lights. But it’s a perfect option for a couple looking to unplug and get back to nature — without needing to set up a tent and sleep on the ground. What do you think?

Suzanne couldn’t resist purchasing this amazing forest house designed by famous Pacific North West designer SunRay Kelley. For eight years, she lived by herself on this ferry-access-only island, enjoying her deep Japanese-style soaking tub and sleeping in the tower bedroom.

Now she rents out the gorgeous spot on Airbnb — and it is almost always booked solid! You can see why in the video below. The arched windows, skylight bubbles, and amazing craftsmanship make this a truly magical spot. And the location doesn’t hurt either!
