Electric bed lifts are such a cool way to include a “downstairs” bedroom into a tiny home without taking up floor space. This custom 22′ Clear Creek built for Veronicque by Tiny Idahomes shows how you can take a traditional tiny house layout and make it extraordinary by adding the electric bed.

In addition to that bed, you’ll find a galley-style kitchen with all the necessary appliances, and a bathroom with a one-piece shower and composting toilet. Finally, there’s a loft bedroom accessible via stairs.

April & Chad were once homeowners in the Portland area, working 6 days a week to stay afloat. But when they started seeing Tiny Living shows on HGTV, they ended up selling their home and business and moving into a studio apartment while they planned their tiny journey!

In 2017, they bought their 24′ Chinook Peak tiny house from Tiny Mountain Houses in Oregon, and parked it on April’s parent’s property. But when Chad’s aging parents needed help, they took their home with them all the way across the country to Maine, where they’ve been living on his parent’s land ever since. April said being able to take their home with them made the transition so much easier than it would have been otherwise!

The couple is now debt-free and have no regrets about going tiny three years ago. We got to do a Q&A with the couple, which you can read at the end of the post! Enjoy the photo tour.

This is a gorgeous 22 ft Verve by Tru Form Tiny, built as an aging-in-place “granny pad” so this client could live near her son.

The home features a ground-floor bedroom tucked into the corner, with large picture windows, so no loft-climbing is necessary! The galley kitchen features a large refrigerator and a two-burner cooktop. Best of all, there’s a little laundry station over the washer/dryer combo unit with the most charming decorations—it almost makes me want to do laundry! Take the photo tour below, then contact Tru Form Tiny about your Verve model.

Dane designed her quaint tiny house with the help of Oregon Cottage Company which then built her forever home. She’s been living tiny for four years already, and has moved the tiny house a total of four times!

She tells her son the house is her gift to him — when she dies he’ll just have to take a trip to Goodwill and another to the dump and he’ll be done!

She has a bump-out couch in the front, a loft bedroom, functional bathroom and a beautiful u-shaped kitchen in the back of the tiny home. You’ll love the video tour and interview with Tiny Home Tours below!

There are so many reasons to go tiny: To reduce costs, to live “greener,” to travel more — and for Talia, to have a clean and simple living area that helps her live well as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). We got to interview Talia and she tells us more about what it means to be an HSP, her tiny life, and her work helping others live more simply.

Her home was built for her by Mint Tiny Homes in British Columbia, and Talia said she had a great experience with the builder. Inside she has a loft bedroom, comfortable living area, kitchen complete with a farmhouse sink, and a spacious bathroom with a subway tile shower.

Enjoy the photo tour and our Q&A with Talia!
