Some years ago, David was inspired to build his own tiny house — and he did! He moved it across the country, met Erin, and the couple moved it back across the country to start their own market farm operation selling organic vegetables and mushrooms.

The initial cost of the house was about $30,000, and it’s all paid off now. After a long day at work, the couple can easily walk home and clean up in the large walk-in shower in the bathroom. What do you think of their set-up?

She has a lovely little backyard lot in Portland, Oregon, complete with a little garden plot and patio space. What do you think of her professionally-built tiny home?

Nick had always admired tiny homes, and with parents in the construction industry and some money in his pocket, he finally decided it was time to build one.

He’s quite tall at 6’5″, so he made sure everything in his tiny house worked for his height. He’s even potty-training his cat so that he doesn’t have to store a litter box inside. What do you think of this awesome build?

Bre & Destiny wanted to own something before turning 30, but a $500,000 home in the Portland area just wasn’t in the cards for them. That’s when they started looking into tiny homes and realized the $90K price tag was far more manageable.

At the moment, they spend about $2,000 a month on their loan and lot and will have it paid off the tiny home by December 2023. Since that’s about what they would have paid in rent, they think it’s worth it to own something at the end of the loan period. Enjoy the tour of their awesome house!
