Karen’s journey toward tiny living began after her youngest child moved out. She started by selling her home and began traveling in an RV. Then she decided on a tiny house, so she put a down payment on a home from a tiny house builder, only to find out some months later that the business went under, and her money was gone.
Not giving up, she paid the loan back, recouped her losses, and was able to purchase a new Incred-i-Box model tiny home from Incredible Tiny Homes for $20,000. She spent some time finishing the interior and now lives in a park in Arizona, loving that her dreams of living simply and affordably finally came true!

The Tiny Blue Nell is one adorable tiny house! And it doesn’t even have a loft, despite the short 14′ length. Instead, a futon couch provides a spot to sleep (although a Murphy bed would make a great addition).
There’s a 3/4 bathroom at the back of the house and a little kitchen with a mini fridge, sink, and removable cooktop. The best part is the price tag — which is under $35k! You can buy it in Ocala, Florida.
