Michele and Sue have always loved tiny homes, but they weren’t quite sure how to make one work. They had been living in Panama during the lockdowns of 2020, and soon realized they would like to be Stateside again. After some late-night YouTube-ing, Sue came across Tiny Tranquility and knew it was the perfect fit for them.
That’s when they started designing their perfect tiny home with a builder. They chose a floor plan with a large bathroom, a spacious kitchen, and a downstairs bedroom. A Murphy bed allows them to use the bedroom as an office space when necessary. What do you think?

I am always disappointed when there are so few photos and, in this case, only one of the interior, because even though there is a video, it is easier to study the features if you can see a picture you can study. I was particularly interested in this one because of using a Murphy bed, something I have been suggesting for a long time because it makes so much sense.
Maybe try this, look up website “YouTubeScreenshot” … Once there, you just enter the YouTube URL into the box, adjust the slide to exactly the point in the video you want to capture. and take a screenshot. You can then download the high res screen shot to view offline…
What is the brand name of the Murphy bed? Where was it purchased? I like how light weight it is with no cabinet surrounding it.
I am speaking only for myself, but I personally prefer to just see pictures of the tiny home, a floor plan etc. I really don’t have the time to watch a video while people talk about their house. Sometimes there are loading problems with the videos and I just give up and leave.
Hi Jonell,
Thank you for your feedback! We understand that not everyone has the time or ability to watch videos, and your preference for pictures and floor plans is noted.
We’re working on including more comprehensive photo galleries and detailed floor plans in our posts to cater to everyone’s needs. This way, you can easily view the tiny home’s features without any interruptions.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these improvements.
Best,
Alex
Those stairs are terrifying. I broke a hip and got a concussion just looking at them.
I am also disappointed there are no still shots of the interior, especially the bed since it’s the main point of the article. It is not always possible to watch a video and, as another commenter said, I like the pictures so I can really look at them instead of pausing a video.
Hi Doreen,
Thank you for your feedback! I’m sorry that the stairs in the video were a bit unsettling for you. We always strive to showcase various designs, and your input helps us understand what our audience prefers.
Regarding the still shots, I completely understand the importance of having clear images, especially when the video might not be accessible. We’ll make sure to include more interior still shots in future posts.
For now, if you’d like to see the Murphy bed in action, it’s at the 14:35 mark of the video. We’ll also work on adding still images of the bed to the post soon.
Thanks again for your valuable feedback!
Best,
Alex
