In this post I wanted to share the story of how this young couple left their apartment life and built their own 128 sq. ft. tiny home on wheels that’s 100% mortgage-free.
When they started, they really didn’t know much about building a house. They just learned and adapted as they went. And they did it.
Now, after much hard work and sweat, they have the simple lifestyle that they once only dreamed of. A debt-free life that’s sustainable. And they did it all themselves. Now that’s something to be proud of, isn’t it?

Tiny Heirloom is a new tiny house builder in Portland, Oregon that focuses on luxury tiny homes on wheels hand-built.
And right now I wanted to show you one of their very first tiny houses on a trailer with dormers. Tiny Heirloom offers off grid designs, on-grid homes, wind and solar power, and more.
One of my favorite features of this little house is the orange painted door with modern hardware. There’s a covered front porch to keep the rain off of you while unlocking your door.

This is an 8’6″ x 20′ craftsman style bungalow tiny house on wheels by Molecule Tiny Homes. It has a beautiful kitchen with an oversized farm-style sink. I think you’ll love it! You know, anytime they build something new for their clients I’m thrilled because they always seem to do an amazing job so I highly recommend if you’re interested to schedule your build with them.
And this time, it’s no different. This awesome little home has everything you could ask for in a tiny house. There are two lofts with dormers. The main loft is 8’x10′ and the second one is 8’x8′. You’ll also find that it has a unique and absolutely beautiful interior with plenty of storage space, a wonderful bathroom, and a gorgeous (and useful) kitchen. Right now I wanted to share this 144 sq. ft. Tennessee Tiny Home for sale with you because it’s such a great deal.
It’s an 8×18 tiny house on wheels, named Tiny Whitey, built by Joe Everson and his team at Tennessee Tiny Homes and Tiny Happy Homes.
When you go inside there are two lofts, a bathroom with full shower, composting toilet, kitchen with refrigerator, 2-burner stove, sink, living area with futon, shelving, storage, and more. There’s also a built in covered porch outside. If you ask me, I’d say this is a steal of a deal for a done-for-you tiny home on wheels with an asking price of only $22,500.

Right now I want to give you a tour of a wonderful little cottage called the Rolling Bungalow. Best of all, if you really like it, you can buy the plans to build it yourself.
If you do all of the labor yourself it costs an estimated $17,000 (in 2014 dollars) to build. And you can do so on a 7’x20′ trailer. In total there’s 160 sq. ft. of living space inside without including the sleeping lofts. And the overall footprint is 8’6″ x 20′. I hope you enjoy the tour as much as I have. The Rose Housetruck For Sale is a guest post/for sale listing by Michael Ostaski

I use to live in this house on wheels and traveled on the road for many years up and down the California/Oregon/Washington coast but now however I have retired it from the road and I have parked it on several different pieces of land.
