While we’ve seen lofts used as living rooms before, the living room loft in The Violet Tiny House by Sunflower Tiny Homes is definitely one-of-a-kind. Instead of a standard flat space with furniture, they actually created the loft with two fixed couches that face each other.
The drop-down area in the middle allows you to stand getting in and out of the loft, and have a perfect spot to chat, read or hang out. Underneath is a queen-sized bedroom area. What are your thoughts on this arrangement?

Jen contacted us because she’s selling the tiny home, she shed, and storage unit she has lived in for the past three years. What’s super awesome is that the park model home sits on almost five acres in New Mexico! So you’ll have a permanent spot for your tiny lifestyle.
The main home has a first-floor bedroom layout and features a full bathroom, bedroom, and spacious living area. It’s always fun to see something totally new in the tiny house world, and this cottage on wheels really fits the bill. It’s incredibly compact, but what stands out is the roof that actually collapses down for transport or maintenance! There’s also a deck built onto the trailer for outdoor living.
Right now, the builder hasn’t finished the interior because he plans to sell the home, and is offering to complete it to the client’s preference, or sell it as-is. The basic design has a large downstairs room, and a loft for sleeping. What do you think of the roof?

One thing I love about tiny spaces is that owners frequently go “all-out” because it’s most cost-effective in a tiny space. That’s what happened in the bathroom of this Austin tiny house. It’s completely tiled with gorgeous orange and gold tiles!
