While Nilamani had dreams of tiny living, before the events of 2020 she was enjoying “normal” life in her home with an Airbnb on her property. But she lost her job and had to shut down the accommodation. She decided to sell the house and had a local tiny house builder create an incredible home that met all her needs.
She rents a lovely plot of land in New Zealand, where she enjoys meals out on her large covered porch and relaxes with yoga in her secondary loft. With the spacious design, she was able to keep much of her eclectic furniture and decor! Her unique sense of style really makes this house a home.

This Charme model by Minimaliste was displayed this weekend at the Tiny Home Show in Ottawa! The 360 square foot home has three bedrooms — two lofts and one first-floor bedroom, private from the rest of the house.
The interior is a creamy white, with dark wood accents that make it feel modern yet inviting. The galley kitchen has all the necessary appliances (even a drawer dishwasher!), and there’s enough space in the living room for a proper couch.
