After Brianna and Tyler went on a travel trailer vacation with their two kids, Tyler jokingly said, “I wish we could do this all the time.” Back then, he was working 12-hour days at the office and Brianna was struggling to manage her job, her kids, and taking care of a 2,600-square-foot home.

So that night, she started crunching numbers and Instagram-spying on other RV families. Tyler woke up to Brianna’s report that they could, in fact, make it work. Just 50 days after that conversation, they’d sold their home and were living in an RV full-time!

  • A family of four, inspired by a vacation in a travel trailer, decided to transition from their 2,600 sq. ft. home to a full-time RV lifestyle.
  • In just 50 days, they successfully sold their house and embraced the freedom and adventure of RV living, documenting their journey on social media.
  • The RV offers ample storage, a spacious kitchen, and accommodates family living, showcasing their successful transition to a mobile lifestyle filled with exploration and new experiences.

They purchased the RV new and have made some improvements to make it fit their needs. Enjoy a photo tour of the space below, and hear from Crissy about why they went tiny and what they love most (and find most challenging) about this lifestyle.

Steve, Erin and their four children made a major lifestyle change after their oldest son asked if his dad didn’t love him because he was always working at the family business. They purchased a camper to spend weekends together and went some place local every single weekend! When they saw families in Florida living full-time in their RVs, they decided, why not them.

Now they have an epic toy hauler with a huge bunk room for the kids that includes their own private bathroom and plenty of space for all their toys and treasures! They even fenced in the garage door, so the kids can have a safe outdoor area to play. Enjoy the tour below.

The Briles family couldn’t have been more tied down to their standard suburban lifestyle in Texas. They had the job, the house, the cars — but something was missing in their pursuit of the American Dream. So they sold everything and purchased a Class A RV which they transformed into a home on wheels.

The vehicle carries their ATV, has a Murphy bed, features a cozy kids’ loft, and a playroom/nursery for their 9-month-old daughter! They have tons of storage for toys and clothing, and the kitchen sports a beautiful faux marble resin top that they DIY-ed. Enjoy the awesome tour below.

When Chuck mentioned the idea of traveling the country in their renovated RV, Shannon was having none of it. But two weeks later, she fell down the Skoolie YouTube rabbit hole and was completely on board. They ended up selling their home, almost all their stuff, and purchasing their Class A RV completely debt-free!

Their debt-free lifestyle has allowed them to experiment with different online income streams and not work traditional jobs while they explore. They overhauled their RV with a lot of white paint, took out upper cabinets that were in the way, and replaced the couch. What do you think?

This family spent three years seeking a diagnosis for their oldest daughter’s illness, and another two years trying treatments for her. When she finally got the all-clear, the parents realized the go-go-go of modern suburban life was so empty. They decided to buy a camper just to spend one month traveling — but once they tasted the alternative life, they couldn’t go back.

They upgraded their camper after a while to this 37-foot fifth wheel which provides a bunk room for the kids, a spacious bathroom, and kitchen with full-size appliances. For now, the family has no plans of ever settling down again!

Five years ago, Chelsea and Diego hardly saw each other because of Diego’s work schedule. That’s when they decided to go tiny and purchased a new RV so Chelsea and the kids could follow Diego wherever he’s working as a pipeline welder.

The couple just welcomed their fourth child a couple months ago, and they all love RV life even if it requires some sacrifice of personal space. Two years into living in the RV they decided to start making renovations, and now every part of their home is as functional as it is beautiful!

You’ll love seeing the interior, but make sure to take time to read the Q&A with Chelsea below the photo tour! And follow the family on Instagram here.
